Hey yo!
I saw Summerslam at Buffalo Wild Wings today with friend and fellow GameFAQs reviewer, "roadkill" Chris Harpster, and Joey. It ended up being a fairly good PPV, with several damn good matches. Bishoff/Shane resulted in some of the funniest moments I've seen in a while in the WWE where Shane used a dazed Bishoff's arm to to "punch" Austin to get past the "physically provoked" clause in Austin's contract so he could give Bishoff a Stunner. Angle/Lesnar was a mat classic and even with a little interference on Vince McMahons part, it still ended up a great match up and I felt better than their WM19 bout.
Don't worry - no botched spots in this confrontation with Angle and Lesnar, but speaking of botched spots, there were only 2 in the whole PPV but it was superstars screwing up moves of they do on a regular basis. Kane screwed up his flying clothesline off the Top TB and got tangled up in the ropes! Looked funny as hell! Then Goldberg messed up his entrance when he did his kick/punch pose he did a kick which apparently went up far too high and he slipped and fell! The elimination chamber was a great match, but I was surprised Triple H managed to beat Kevin Nash by being the laziest wrestler in the matchup. It was probably due to his groin injury, but the second HHH entered the contest, he was Superkicked by HBK back into his chamber, stayed there for 10 minutes until Goldberg eliminated everyone else, then took a couple clotheslines from Goldberg before nailing him with a sledgehammer for the win.
Oh yeah for some strange reason, GameFAQs took down all my wrestling character FAQs. I hope its just because of the server switch over there why they are down, but I will still continue to update them. I already got the new listings for WM19 and RAW2 worked in. I am getting pretty pumped for those 2 games that both come out next month! I got a chance to test both out at E3, and I'm kinda favoring WM19 a hair more cause Yuked revamped the engine and made it kinda like the No Mercy one, but RAW2 fixed the gripes I had with the controls and it was playing well too. I already got both on reserve and can't wait to get ahold of these. That's all for now! Latez!
