Whooo the work week is over!!! Just got off early today around 5am instead of the usual 7am so it was a nice way to end the work week to say the least. When I woke up yesterday I found my first ever parking ticket on window wipers. Took damn near 2 years but I finally got my first one of those. On my breaks lately I've been reading a whole bunch of books I haven't got around to reading yet simply because my spare time has been few and far between. In the past few months I already finished "Choke" by Chuck Palanuick (author of Fight Club) which was a very good read by the way, and earlier this week I finished Hulk Hogan's "official" autobiography, which was ok as far as the "official" wwe line goes. I was interested in the first third of the book which dealt with how Hulk broke into the business and his early days in his first run with the WWF, Japan, and the AWA. It seems that Mr. Hogan must love to bash and bury his enemies though and seems like he is mister all that because that's what he does for the second half of the book.

Right now I'm about 65 pages into Mick Foley's first novel, "Tietam Brown." I didn't know what to expect out of this book because I simply bought it because of how much I loved his "Have a Nice Day" and "Foley is Good" autobiographies. That, and I was particulary found of his writing style, which is exceptionally well for an ex-pro wrestler. I am surprised at how I'm already pretty into Tietam Brown because I usually don't get into a book until a third of the way through, but I was right into this book from the first chapter as I'm learning of Antietam Brown's first dating experience with the Dream Girl of high school, who is dating a cripple. Very good so far, and major props to Mr. Foley for writing to already what seems to be another masterpiece!
