Hey Yo! Just finished up the work week a couple hours ago. Gotta get to bed here soon, cuz when I wake up me and Corey are heading to the Fargodome to catch the WWE House Show. It'll be my first wrestling event I've been to in 2 and a half years. I'm pretty damn excited.
Earlier this week I picked up two new music albums. The new Limp Bizkit - "Results May Vary" and the new "Best of" Pantera album that just came out. Results May Vary is definitely not what I had in mind for it to be. I thought I was expecting more of the same from LB's last Chocolate Starfish album. This album is way more mello when compared to it, hell if it weren't for one or two tracks it wouldn't have got the explicit warning on the cover. There's only about 2 or 3 fast pace rap-metal songs on the album, and they still sound notches lower when compared to the last album. The rest of the album is a bunch of slower songs, I'm trying to make them grown on me and I dunno if it'll prevail. It's just that I didn't have this in mind at all from Limp Bizkit. That kickass "Crack Addict" song they did at Wrestlemania 19 earlier this year isn't even on the album. What the fuck is up with that? I did get a free DVD with it tho, however it's just 35 minutes of random clips from their upcoming 4 hour DVD that's coming out this fall. But still a nice preview all around. I'm still gonna give their album a couple more playthroughs before I can give it a solid rating, but so far I still like all their other albums better than Results May Vary.
The Pantera album I didn't listen to yet because I know what's all on there. It did come with a couple cool things with the package, the booklet has a little history of Pantera, and there's a DVD with 12 music videos of their's on it. Rob Zombie just came out with a same greatest hits/dvd package and I'm gonna have to pick up that one too sometime soon. Oh yeah got a call from Software Etc the other day saying I got a Backyard Wrestling promotional DVD waiting for me for free since I already pre-ordered the upcoming game coming out. Didn't pop it in yet, but it looks pretty cool since it has 4 music videos and a whole bunch of interviews with wrestlers and game designers and a featurette on the making of the game.
Well time to get some zzs so I can catch the WWE!!! Latez!!!!
