What a weekend. I was suppose to have one day off, but my boss decided to give me a second one at the last moment, which quite nice indeed. Chris came over yesterday, and it was the first time I hung out with him in a while. Us and Joe all teamed up and did some Mario Kart: DD, we got almost everything unlocked. We unlocked the special cup and all cup tour and got golds in 50, 100, and 150cc, now we just gotta get 2 more golds in the new evil "mirror" speeds where the comp is evil as hell. The Luigi's Mansion battle stage that we unlocked is one of the bigger stages the multiplayer was in dying need of. The unlockable Toad/Toadette characters pack are a pretty fast combo, but the Pirana Pete and King Boo characters are unique to say the least. They definitely have the upperhand tho since they don't have a unique special, so instead they are able to get any of the other characters specials. Chris also brought over Gladius and Metal Arms to try out. I highly recommend Metal Arms, it caught me off guard and the robot/mech/vehicle multiplayer combat is pretty damn fun.
I got to play a round in my Franchise in Madden for the first time in a while, prolly because I've been to occupied with ESPN NFL lately and trying to cope with the 49ers losing again to the freaking Ravens. Garcia was rusty as hell after coming back off of three games by throwin 4 picks. With a 5-7 record now they can pretty much kiss any slim playoff hopes goodbye now.
There has been this one gal that always parks in front of my place, and usually takes my parking spot where I'm forced to park a good 1/2 block up the street or am left a slim parallel parking job that is a pain to squeeze into. Well last night I made a soda run, and noticed her vehicle wasn't there so I was finally able to get my spot, and I left her a lil more room than she does for me to parallel park. I woke up in the morning and it turns out that Bitch can't parallel park either cuz she decided to park up the street too. Muwahaha, now she knows how it feels!
I finally was able to get some more use out of my MP3 player, whenever I listen to it at work everyone complains about me not being "sociable enough." So I went for about an hour walk and was able to get a good run through my set of tunes. On Ka-.....errr my backup folder of all my cd-ripped tracks-hehe I did a search of covers and found some unique tracks, like a killer Manson cover of "Another Brick in the Wall" and Nirvana doing that Mrs. Robinson song.
I also got a bunch of crystal clear old wrestler themes like Demolition, Rockers, Marc Mero, extreme Hardy Boyz, classic Big Bossman, and many others. I sent 'em to my Xbox, and did a couple more created wrestlers with authentic music thanks to that awesome Music Mixer tool that lets me transfer tracks from my PC to my Xbox. I was able to create Jim Ross coming down to the Oklahoma Sooners fight song, and Jeff Hardy coming out to his correct theme too! I beat Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain also yesterday, another satisfying season mode finished up to say the least. Also a few days ago I picked up a couple DVD's to add my Wrestling video collection.......Bloodbath: Wrestling's Greatest Cage Matches, and The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection. I shall be getting Pirates of the Carribbean at work tomorrow too. Well, that's about all I got to say today.......latez!
