Half the weekend is over, and what it has been so far....is weird. Friday nothin really interesting happened, I tried to get a haircut but the barber was fricking packed.......Steve works as the main security/janitor for the little mall the barbershop is in so I chatted with him for awhile. Afterward I just been playin a bit of The Sims: Bustin Out for PS2, which is pretty much exactly like the original console version with a bunch of extra items and locales to visit. Same 'ol addicting Maxis fun. Also got a bit into Morrowind and finally got the most out of Syra Deen and just entered Balmore......now the decision to join a guild and do whatever the fuck I want or follow the quest.

On Saturday I woke up extra early (well to an overnighter anyways) at noon, and made it to the barbershop at 1pm, and as I expected barely any customers were there and I got it in right away. Actually got a nice haircut and barber got a nice tip as a result. Now I'm not one who believes just in mandatory tipping, but just like Steve Bouchemi says in the movie Resevoir Dogs "I will if the effort is there." After that I did a shovel off of a light snow, and later went out to see the movie The Butterfly Effect with Carlos. Very damn good movie I might add, and it definitely lived up to the dozens of previews I saw for it. This is one I'm easily gonna pick up on DVD upon its release.

About an hour after the movie I get a call from my sister Ann who's living in Arkansas right now. I chat it up with her for about a good 20 minutes or so and then I finally get a beep on the other line from Rich, who just got back into town from boot camp and training. We went out and grabbed a quick bite to eat and caught on everything that happened in the three months he was gone. We went back and hung around for a lil while as Rich went crazy over the latest Tony Hawk installment, Underground. He said he's been playing his GBA to death lately in the Navy and says its all he has to play down there so I got him a comin home gift in the form of Fire Emblem. He's assembling quite an already stellar line of RPG's for the GBA, with FE now added to his collection of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Lunar Legend, & Secret of Mana. I myself also decided to try out a new GBA game, as I picked up the raved Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Didn't try it out yet, but from what I hear, I will not be disappointed.

That's all for now! Latez!
