Hiya! had a nice active weekend for once, as I took a break from just zoning out before. On Friday Chris took me to this friend of his, Kyle, and man does he have a nice tv. A 52 inch plasma hd tv!!! We played some old school Deathrow (the best game you never heard of on Xbox). Then we watched that Underworld movie.......very bad ass and completely blew me away. Lots of twists and turns to keep the story and action fresh throughout. Highly recommended. Got a call from Rich, he'll be comin in town in later January, I'm pretty pumped to see him for a while before he's off for good to San Diego for 4 years. Afterwards Chris came by and got my DVD Burner installed and installed my new network card. So far no disconnects cuz of it, but I'm still being patient on it to see if any pop up anytime soon.
On Saturday Rocket and AJ stopped by, and we did the usual gaming in NBA 2K3 (I lost again!) Played a bit of 4 player n64 Smash Bros with them and Joey where AJ ruled supreme for the most part. We then ended it with No Mercy where I finally snapped my losing streak against Rocket and beat him in an 15 minute Iron Man match by a whoppin score of 9 falls to 0. On Sunday I went and spent time with Dad and Joey...we bowled a few games (didnt win any, go figure) and grabbed a bite to eat.
I've been playing a bit of online again with NCAA Football 2004, fellow GFer Steve McFadden has been giving me plenty of playing tips, even tho I have never beaten him yet in 10 match ups. But my losing streak is finally over. I played another chump around my player skill level, and after 13 straight losses. I have my first win!!!! I bought The Shield season 2 dvd set on Friday, and have been watchin it all weekend. It's definitely one of the best dramas out there. I got 5 more episodes left to watch, which I'm going to do now......latez!!!!
