Just finished up the weekend and I'm about to hit the hay, but I thought I'd brief all ya 2 or 3 peepz readin this on how I spent it. I know, ya don't care but I'll just pretend you do for the time being. Anywho, on Saturday I joined AJ, and Rocket as Rich's folks threw him a little welcome back party, and they made him a nice home made meal with turkey, dressing, and potatoes!!! Mmmmm, damn good welcome back meal I must say. Afterward we went to Blockbuster to rent some games and flicks for the night. At first we rented Dracula 2000, but that didnt work in Rich's Xbox so we went back and rented A Man Apart, and it did work actually so that was a minor relief. But the other 2 Xbox games we rented both didn't work and it ticked all of us off.
So we went drivin around and just opted to get drunk instead. We visited Jason Meis workplace and he said there was a 6-Keg party going on in a few hours, and all of us we're like "WERE THERE!!!!" We met up with him afterwards, and when we went to the party...it was frickin packed, I mean literally, there was about 200 college frats and whatnot there, barely anyroom to walk by, and they were all outta booze. Rocket ended up stealing a bottle of liquor someone brought along when they weren't looking, and Meis let us have the last little bit of one of his liters 'o alchohol. We wanted to get out of there anyways as we noticed a popo drivin by once every minute or so, lookin as if they were just waiting for a call to come in so they can bust the party. We went back and played games at my place for a few hours. We did a triple threat 30 minute Iron Man match, and at the end of it I shoulda win as I got the winning fall with 30 secs left to spare, as I had 3 falls, Rocket had 2, and Rich had 1. But the game awarded Rich the victory for the hell of it and we were all confused as hell. Bleh.
On Sunday I had my big WWE Royal Rumble PPVbash lined up. I Invited 8 people, only 5 showed, which was good considering there was a fucking blizzard going on outside. I picked up Rich, Jarett, and Steve. Thankfully, Corey and Rocket managed to find their own ways to my place. It was a nice PPV all together, a few matches just ended outta nowhere, the main singles match had a BS draw ending, but the Rumble itself was great as Benoit finally got his big win and will be heading to Wrestlemania in the main event. After the PPV, we played games for an hour or so, and then I ended up cartin the three I picked up back, and driving through the snow (which was unplowed on all the side streets mind you!) was one tough struggle. Especially making two separate trips in my tiny Ford Ranger. But thankfully I wasn't in my old Corsica or else it would've been guaranteed to get stuck somewhere.
As of right now, I just finished disc one of the new Mick Foley DVD I got in the mail, and it had some mighty good old matches from his WCW, ECW, and SMW days on there. The extras weren't all that bad either, a few kickass ECW promos on there, and his debut television appearence for the-then WWF all the way back in 1986, when he was jobbing against the British Bulldogs as "Jack Foley." Foley says in a little prelude this is only his second ever career match, and man did he look weak in it! But that first disc alone is sheer awesome, and all his WWE classics are on the second disc! I highly recommend purchasing it.
Allrighty, that's all for now....later everybody!
