What I'd change/add for ESPN NFL Football 2K5
Just posted it on a forum.....just thought I'd share my opinions here to for the best football series ever!........
ya change positions definitely.......its too bad because Jimmy Kleinsausser acts as the main Fullback AND Tight End for the Vikings and he plays more of his role in safety than fullback, but ESPN has him listed as the starting fullback and I couldnt do a thing about it.......grrrrr.
What else......oh yeah, please bring back on the fly injury updates during gameplay. If not in the form of a sidelines announcer, at least with a textbox that flashes at the pre-snap.
Fix the glitch where your customized crib jukebox music to play if ur xbox had more than 225 songs burned to it.
Please update the refereee character models....they look ugly as hell. They never changed from the inaugural 2K. This is the only thing Madden has up on Sega in the graphics department.
Have a Berman post game show....but instead of snapshots, there'll be several key plays shown in their entirety (like in NFL Fever) with Berman's running commentary throughout them like in his weekly wrapup. I was surprised at how robust Berman's single play commentary was during those wrap up shows.....they definitely need to add some kind of post game show in there.
Better pre and post game cut scenes. I loved the special little scenes they added for the super bowl.....but maybe a presentation of the Lombardi trophy to the coach also? That would be nice.
Backups should also automatically be subbed in really early in preseason games like in Madden. And have their ratings actually improve depending on their preseason performance!!!
add in trick plays for the hell of it and some added 'specialty' playbooks...i hate diggin around 5 minutes for an option play
