Hello everybody! Usually my work week is boring and eventless, but not this one....a bit more interesting than usual. On Monday, while I went out on my break to start up my vehicle so it can warm up I noticed the ever-annoying "Check Engine" light pop up. I had no idea what it was for and I told my co-workers and they all basically said the same thing "Take it to the Ford Dealership and have it run through the computer to find the computer glitch that is wrong." Then, just last night when I pulled in to work I noticed one of my headlights was out so at first I thought "ah, that's what caused the 'check engine' light to pop up" but after discussing this with my coworkers, all but one said "I've never heard of a headlight going out causing that to happen." But I just bought a backup headlight for my vehicle, and I'm going over to my dad's to get it installed later today, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed for that to be the problem.
Remember I told you in the last post about the Aubree situation? Well, heres some more interesting stuff that just occured in the last two days. On Tuesday morning as I was giving her a ride home (she has no vehicle and only lives a few blocks away from me so it's no prob for me) she was going on about how she'd go nuts if she doesn't have a boyfriend by her birthday which is two days before Valentine's Day. She then sorta mumbled, "Now I just need to ask out this one guy I work with." Now I instantly started thinking if she was dropping hints for me to ask her out, and I hate it when gals do that because I'm either horrible for not catching them, or end up misinterperting them for hints. However, my worries were soon over, as I reluctantly asked "what do you mean" and she goes on to say that she's got a crush on another fellow co-worker and just wants to work up the guts to ask him out. Of course I didn't ask her who it was, but I'm pretty sure it's not me because she said "I saw him at the library the other day" and it's been a good year or so since I've been to our town's library. But why she is telling me this and not any of my other co-workers is beyond me----
----Well at least I thought she didn't tell anyone else she broke up with her boyfriend because my fricking boss comes up to me and goes "hey Dale, you should ask her out and take her out on a date," and I told him how she told me she's already thinking of someone else but he just persists "yeah but you can beat her to the punch." But I keep saying I won't, and he doesn't say another thing about it to me, but now I can just see him asking Aubree out on behalf of me like he did with Shelly several months ago. Not that I don't like Aubree, I think she is a great person and if we would date I would like to give it a shot and see how it goes, but I just hate people setting things up for me, but then again I guess I'm thankful for it cause I don't have the balls. We'll just have to see how the situation unfolds over the next few days.
I just picked up the first installment of dot hack on PS2 the other day. I watched Chris play it several times and I thought the whole 'simulated MMORPG' aspect was kinda neat with gettting fake emails and whatnot, so I decided to buy it and give it the 'ol college try. That, and the fact that it was marked down to $20 at work didn't hurt either. Oh yeah, my Bustin' Out review is up on GameFAQs, click here to check it out. I need to get off my lazy butt and catch up on reviews. I still need to write one for the awesome PC game that is Wizardry 8. I feel ashamed, I must've clocked in at least 40 hours already in it and I'm only probably about 25% done with the entire game, if that.
Lookin forward to tonight, I was able to get just this one night off of work so I can hang out with Rich since its his last night in town before he takes off for being stationed in San Diego tomorrow. That's all for now....latez!
