Hey yo. Rest of the work week was same 'ol, save for my boss pulling me aside and telling me if I keep up my 'inconsistent pace' I'll be transfered to a different area of working overnights. The real fucking problem is he is trying to hide is his area is overstaffed and he can't manage to schedule all six of us a full 40 hours each week and needs to make a cut.......bastard! He says he'll see how the next few weeks go and he'll make up his mind, and he's just trying to be nice to me before I get transferred to another area of work, which will suck. Cause then I won't have a set schedule (three day weekends do rule!!!), and I'll more than likely won't be getting full time hours.
Man, I usually don't get sloshed three weekends in a row, but I guess now I can lay claim for being a temporary alcoholic. On Friday I first spent the first good portion of the day at home celebrating Shawn's b-day early, as he has to be deployed for duty for work next during his actual birthday. We played a very long game of Monopoly that Jane ended up winning. I was at least happy that I got Joey eliminated. I like the computer version far more.....way less of a setup to deal with. After that, and pizza and the usual birthday fun stuff I was to meet up with Corey at Carlos's to watch some movies and drink. Aubree was suppose to come to, but she called earlier and said she had a migraine and couldn't make it, but I still had to go over pick up the remnants of my EJ from last week, and well Matt was there and she seemed fine to me. Blah....I'm almost over her, and I really need to get over her, but if she ends up replacing me in my job..........then that will be very freaking hard to deal with.
Anywho, met up at Carlos's around 10pm, and him and Corey were in the middle of Matrix Reloaded. I have no idea why they were watching it again as all three of us watched it there over at his place just a month or two ago. Those two were already almost done polishing off a two liter bottle of Crown Royal, and I was drinking at a much more relaxed pace than last weekend. Corey and Carlos were buzzing pretty good, especially Carlos. After Matrix we ordered pizza and while talking to the pizza guy he said in a weird tone of voice........."no we do no want tacos!" and he was dropping cups throughout the night. I had a total of five EJ&Coke's, and a had a very nice buzz going throughout the night, and I was in far better control of myself than last week. After Matrix 2, we popped in Dreamcatcher and man is that one trip of a movie. I enjoyed it quite a bit as it had many interesting plot twists and had much suspense throughout the film. After that we watched a "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" that had Jeff Foxworthy, and was the perfect thing to watch while drunk! Then it was around 2am and Corey was taking off so I hitched a ride home as I didn't trust myself, and I was surprised Corey was fine enough to drive. I was buzzing pretty good to about 5am (about three hours ago) as I came home and finished watching the rest of the first season of Friends. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and there's a good chance I'll watch a good chunk of Season 2 for the rest of the weekend. That's all for now, I gotta rest up for a good hour walk to my vehicle tomorrow.....latez!
