Hiya.....halfway thru the work week with nothing much happening. Fricking snow starts to melt, but than it keeps coming back. I picked up Max Payne 2 at work the other day as it was on sale for $25, never played the first one but I figured if I like Dead to Rights then I should like this one just as much. I just took Rocket out to Paradiso so he can grab his free b-day meal......too many damn b-day's in March. Getting me broke and off budget.
On a completely unrelated note, the 49ers are releasing damn near all their stars. Garrison Hearst is gone as Kevan Barlow got a contract extension and will be the new starting halfback. Jeff Garcia didn't renew his contract and decided to jump ship to the Browns as he signed a 5 year deal with them. It looks like Tim Rattay will be the new starting QB, I got good faith in him as he did really well in 2 of his 3 starts last season when he beat the Rams and Steelers. Ron Stone and Derrick Deese also got released. Terell Owens, well I dunno what is going on with him, he was going to be a free agent but his agent missed the deadline to file the paperwork for it, then he got traded to the Ravens for just a draft pick, but now Owens released a statement saying there's no way he is going to play for the Ravens and now an arbitrator has to decide soon weather or not to uphold or void the trade. The 49ers next two receivers in their depth chart, Tai Streets & Cedrick Wilson, are also restricted free agents right now so their's a chance they might be picked up by another team too.
