What a super fast crazy weekend! As soon as I got off work Friday morning I met up with my dad and we hit the road around 9am. I should of slept as soon as we hit the road but for some damn reason I couldn't, and thus after 12 hours of driving we stopped at a hotel outside of Kansis City at 9pm. We got up early and hit the highway again around 7am and made it to the town Ann was staying in Arkansas at 4pm. We needed to go to another town about 2 hours away to get some stuff of hers in luggage, and midway there, my dad's van break down. We take a few hours to get a tow, but this is Saturday night, and when we get into town all the dealerships are already closed and they are also closed on Sunday's, so we waited a full day and a half until my dad found out the problem and we were on our way again. With the lost time we drove nonstop back and got back home at about 3pm yesterday. Good to have my sis back home again, by the way we talked she did live quite the life while down in Arkanas.
I only managed to get about an hour or two of sleep the whole car ride back, and it didn't help I had to be at work in under 6 hours after I got back home. The night freaking dragged on like crazy as we sat another rough set, the dreaded toothpaste aisle. And it was just me Carlos, and my boss that night as hours got cut like mad in our area of work that week and Corey is out of town on vacation in Washington DC. I felt like I was about to pass out on a couple of occasions, but I survived, and still managed to come home and watch a brand new episode of The Shield I taped. That's the second one I caught in the latest season (3). I usually forget watching/taping them whenever they are on television, as I watched all of the last two seasons via the DVD sets I purchased that I'm pretty sure I mentioned a couple months back in my bloggery.
I also got a couple of new DVD's in the mail as well from Amazon. I got the WWE Monday Night Wars DVD, and the new directors cut of Beyond the Mat: Ringside Special Edition, that has an extra 30 minutes of footage than the first released DVD had and a few new extras that I still need to check out. Rest of the week is gonna be pretty weird, I am only scheduled to work last night and tonight, but there's a good chance I'll pick up a spare shift on Thursday night. On Friday I plan on haning out with Corey and catching the new Rock movie, Walking Tall and watchin my copy of Rundown afterwards. I never saw it in the theater and figured since it looked good and got some good reviews that it couldnt hurt picking it up on a DVD's traditional first week sale. Anywho, on Saturday I'll be cathing some flicks with my dad, and on Sunday I'll be hanging with my family celebrating my 21st B-day, then afterwords around 9pm-ish I'll meet up with some co-workers at a sports bar so they can treat me to a few drinks, and y'know whats trippy on golden b-day?!/ I'll be like my triple Golden Birthday or something as it occurs on 04/04/04/. I'm also pumped about getting my own place again come mid-May or so. I have no idea why I am, but I'm really looking forward to being a loner. Well, that's about it for today as I leave you with......
4 MORE DAYS TO MY 21st B-DAY..................A BOOYA!!!
