Whats up all! Just finishin up the weekend here. Friday wasnt that bad of a day. Rocket came over and we played some games for awhile. I beat him in NBA 2K3 again with 8 minute quarters in a close game where I beat him by just 6 points with my Pacers against his Magic. We also played a round of ESPN College Hoops, as I'm really starting to get the hang of that game. It has none of the gripes that I have with ESPN NBA Basketball. You are able to do proper defensive strafing in here, and the Legacy mode kicks ass. Me and Richard also watched Bad Boys 2 on video, I never saw the first, but damn did this movie kick ass.
On Saturday I joined Corey in going over to Carlos's. We played some more ESPN College Hoops, and watched a couple movies. Corey brought over the 1974 cult classic, Monty Python and Holy Grail, which is pretty damn funny for a satire in that day and age I have to admit, and then we watched Reservoire Dogs that I brought along. We polished off the rest of our bottles from a couple weeks ago, tho I only had enough for about two drinks so I never even a had buzz going so I can now say I went two straight weeks without getting drunk!
On Sunday Steve came over and we hung out for a good chunk of the day. We checked out a few stores around town, and I got that new Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life on GCN in my PO Box today, I totally forgot about that game as I pre-ordered it off EBgames.com about a good 3 or 4 months ago. Anywho, we played Wrestlemania 19 on GCN for awhile, then Street Hoops on the Cube, and watched the WWE's John Cena DVD, which the main feature wasn't all that great to be honest. But at least there were 5 of his best matches with Taker, Lesnar, and a couple other on there too. I ordered a couple more wrestling DVD's too recently. I pre-ordered the new extended special edition of Beyond the Mat, that has an extra 30 minutes of footage and a new commentary thrown in too, and the Monday Night Wars DVD, but they won't ship until Beyond the Mat's street date which is about two days from now.
That's about it for now, I'll find out by the end of the week here who's getting bumped off my team in work in place for Kristina. Right now Corey and Carlos told me yesterday that it looks like Aubree will get the boot by the end of the week, but I still get that gut instint that I still have a slight chance of being booted too. I'll just hope that things work out for the best. Latez!
