Just finished up my mini weekend. On Saturday me and Steve hung out for a while. He brought over NBA Ballers and Fight Night 2004. Ballers is a helluva lot better than I thought it would be for just a one-on-one arcade dunk-fest. Fight Night is good, but the pace is totally unbelievable as most contests just last a handful of rounds. But the freaking KO's are hilarious!!!! Oh yeah, that new right-analog 'total punch' control is incredibly hard to get the hang of so I just recommend skipping it and stick with one of the other button configs that puts the punches mapped to the face buttons instead. After Steve left, I watched that Monday Night Wars DVD. A nice WWE-perspective of the side of things, should fare well for any casual fan. I wished they could of put a bit more of a focus on some of the latter subject matter like the Russo-era and they skimped out on some elements that completely ruined WCW like the fingerpoke of doom and David Arquette winning the WCW World belt. There are some good extras on it tho, and for a one disc DVD I can easily recommend it.

Easter Sunday went by pretty good...woke up extra early so I could go to church with my dad and Ann and Joey. We caught brunch afterwards for an insanely high price for some shitty buffet food. Then got home and Shawn and Jane arrived to visit, and Shawn brought his quad and I got to ride that around for awhile. It is definitely a lot easier to handle than the last time I tried it a year ago as now I know actually how to drive stick shift. Later on, we had a big 'ol supper with the family and visited for awhile. Shawn did his usual blowout over me in NCAA Football 2004. Now, I'm just kicking back and relaxing. Just got done doing my usual Sunday load of laundry and got a few rounds of my franchises and dynasties in on ESPN NFL Football and ESPN College Hoops, respectively. That's about it for now....Happy Easter everyone.....latez!
