Hiya! Well, I'm officialy on my own again. Huzzah. On Friday night I stayed up packing up all my stuff and getting it ready for the move and finished in time to watch the T-Wolves beat the Nuggets in game 5 and advance in the playoffs for the first time in their franchise history. About damn time!! On Saturday my mom took me out with Joey for one last dinner on her. Then shortly after that it was time for me to meet my apartment agent to get my apartment. As she took one last walkthrough the apartment I saw a few things I didn't like such as some really freaking filthy windows, and the window frames are really old and hard to open. Oh yeah the cable output is in the dining room of all places, so I either gotta have my entertainment center in there or run a long extension through my place, I decided to go with the later option.
Anywho, I went over to my Dad's right after I got my place and I got Chris's sofa I had stored in his garage for the past 3 months or so, then Corey came over and we started the move. It took two trips there and back, but both of our Ford Rangers handled the loads quite well. Afterwards me and him went to Target and I got some apartment necessities like TP, Soap, and dishes. I stayed up all night Saturday unpacking until I passed out around 4am. On Sunday Jane and Ann swung by my place and checked it out, then after that I went to Target with Jane and bought more things I neglected before and groceries. Thank god for my discount, in my two days shopping I saved about 30 bucks.
Later on that night Chris swung by and we tried out R: Racing Revolution and Unreal 2 on Xbox. Unreal 2 is fun, but the split-screen co-op has a horrish frame rate. I swear I saw aliens literally doing 3 frame death animations. I think Perfect Dark's co-op was better than that! But it was nice and go tho, that's for sure! Rocket then came over and Chris popped in this Champions of Norrath game he recently picked up for PS2. It's made by the same people who produced the first Dark Alliance, and it plays damn near exactly like it, but with up to four players!!!!! Hell yeah, all three of us were playing it nonstop for an hour and a half and it was fun as hell! Then Chris took off and Richard stayed to play one round of NBA 2K3, as his Lakers dominated my Spurs and he won by a good 15 points. Richard then took off and I stayed up unpacking and then finished up regular season play of my legacy in ESPN College Hoops.
Today has been fairly good, finished up unpacking, washed some new dishes I bought then headed over to moms to do my laundry (buck a load.....oh hell no). Watched RAW and it was a damn good episode tonight. Triple H came out and ruined an otherwise killer main event in the form of Benoit and Shawn Michaels. That's about it for now, just feels good to be out on my own again for the first time in a little over two years. A little bit overdue in my view, but hopefully everything will work out this time now from my previous learning experience. Until next time......latez!
