Hey yo! Just finished up my weekend. Went pretty well actually. On Friday, got I hung out with Scott and Steve. We grabbed some pizza at Little Caesars and got back at my place where Scott conquered Steve in Madden 2004. Scott had to take off then, so I dropped him off, got back and played a boatload of the new Legends of Wrestling game with Steve. We played it for quite a while, doing battle royals and survivor series-type elimination matches. The game is actually quite fun, it would've been perfect if it wasn't loaded with glitches with the collision detection and certain move animations. After Steve and I got past the bugs, we managed to enjoy it quite a bit.
On Saturday I picked up Joey and we met at Steve's place. Little Caesers has been a big craze for us lately ever since they've had their $5 large pizza specials going on for us white trash folks :) We brought some pizza over there, and Steve had the KISS version of Monopoly we played for awhile, where Joey ended up killing us in it. Afterwards we played some Xbox games which consisted of Project Gotham Racing 2, Top Spin, and a bit more of Showdown: Legends of Wrestling. Later that night after I got back, the webmaster of the current site I work for, VGpub told me he's got the football forums for the football division of the site he plans to launch around August, where me and a few other staff from the football division will be writing in our happenings about the NFL. I ended up doing a big posting marathon that night, and if any of you are big NFL fans make sure to check out these forums by clicking here and please spread the word around.
Yesterday, me and Scott met up with a bunch of co-workers from Target to play some Dodge Ball. We were actually suppose to play some football, but it got changed at the last minute. We were playing with Aubree, Jenny, James, Brad, John, and Corey. We played for about a good hour, but left earlier than expected cuz Scott and I got pretty bored cuz the gals that were playing decided to take a 20 minute break to grab water, and when they got back, we only played for about 10 more minutes before they took another drastically break. When that second break occured, Scott and I decided to take off for good. I don't remember if I said it or not in my last post, but Scott got laid off from Target last week, and yesterday he told me he's going to be moving down to West Fargo with his folks so he can work and save up for a while so he can get back on his feet before getting an apartment back up here he says. It'll suck to see him move away so fast after I've been getting along with him great for the past few weeks, but I guess he's gotta do what he's gotta do.
We decided to make the most outta yesterday then, we got back to my place and played a round of Madden, which I actually won for once. I'm now 2-4 I believe against him. I then showed Scott the Showdown game, and he loved it. We played for a few hours doing a couple battle royals. After that Scott helped me a bit in my journey in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Xbox. He helped me out for about a good three hours, and my character is pretty damn good right now, and he just became a jedi and just got his lightsaber. I'm surprised at how good this is. We got a bottle of cheap whiskey we drank as we gamed it up last night. To end it, we got Gamespy Aracade to get us a couple of online games of Halo going on Xbox. We did two matchups, and pretty much got our asses handed to us in both of them, but we still had a blast.
So all in all, it was a pretty damn fine weekend, that I was plent active in, it's always great when u make the most out of it like this. That's about all I have for you now....latez!
