Hiya! Well, the past few days have been pretty interesting to say the least. I finished up the last of the work week by working 9 shifts in 10 days with only one day off inbetween. It really dragged towards the end, but I finally finished it thank god. On Wendesday night I went out to eat with my mom at Happy Joe's buffet. I made sure to get all I could eat cause it would be the last time I could eat because I had to have my wisdom teeth pulled the next day and couldn't eat 12 hours before the surgery. I was also informed on Wendesday that I'd get Metal Slug 3 in to review on Xbox, I pumped in quarters like mad in the classic arcade Metal Slug's and was pretty excited as I just got it in the mail yesterday.

Anywho, once work got done on Thursday morning I got home and just chilled and got some shit done until my appointment at the dentist. I got back into creating wrestlers again in RAW 2, I created Owen Hart, and Diamond Dallas Page the day before, and on Thursday I created Batman and Paul Heyman. I also edited my first review for VGpub in quite a while. Before I knew it, it was time to meet up with Corey, so he could drive me to the dentist for my appointment. He had to drive me to and from there cuz they're giving me an IV bag to drug me out for the surgery.

And boy did those drugs help. I thought I was gonna be scared as hell, but when the doctor gave me the drugs he said, 'now these things kick in right away, do u notice the ceiling above you going in circles?' I replied.... 'nope' shortly after that though the wallpaper started freaking out on me and I said, 'dude, there's a moth flying around in here' and he replies all 'a moth, eh?' then it clicks in and i finally realize it by saying, 'wait, it's the drugs huh?' and he simply said 'yep.' Next thing I know the dentist and his crew were in and thank god he blindfolded me and I heard him drilling and pulling away, the novacaine really worked I didn't feel a thing and the Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) was really in full effect as I was talking all funny to them I recall by saying as I heard him trying to pull the teeth out, 'c'mon you can yank it out, c'mon, c'moooon, yay u got it!'

Ya, I was a bit out of it, they put me in recovery as I was bleeding out of the mouth like a madman for a longtime. After about 20 mins there when the drugs were about 60 percent worn off or so they told me Corey was ready to pick me up and we went to the drug store to get some painkillers. Pharmacist said take one every four, but said they'll make me drousy. So I took one when I got to Corey's, and I was really out of it. Corey and his wife Suzy, were real nice to me and took good care of me while I recovered at their place for the night. I kept randomly passing out for 15 minutes or so, when the novacaine wore off around 4pm that day I was in a huge amount of pain for about the next hour before I had to take my next painkiller. Thankfully, after the pain wore off I could finally eat again, however from then until about through the weekend I gotta stay on this smooth food diet of just jello, pudding, yogurt, applesauce and soup. Huzzzah!!!

I spent all the rest of Thursday at Corey's recovering, I ended up crashing there at about 1am and waking up at about 8am and watched some tv. I saw filter on G4-TechTV, as they had the user's voted Top 10 basketball games of all time. And man u guys are just EA-sluts, huh? 3 EA games on there? Fucking March Madness 2004 was on there and the superior ESPN College Hoops didn't even make the list!?!? NBA Live 2004 got number three of all time as the even better ESPN NBA only got number four, the bastards. And fucking EA's NBA Street series took number one. Ya, I like Street admittedly, but I'd gladly vote Sega's game over it any day. At least NBA 2K1 also made the cut at number six, but still. I was glad to see a few classic ball games make the list like the NES versions of Double Dribble, and Jordan vs. Bird. NBA Jam also got on there really high at number 2. 2 games on there tho that didn't deserve a spot in my opinion were NBA Shootout 2004, and NBA Hoopz. I'd do a top 10 basketball game list right now, but I'm way too tired.

Anywho, I took off from Corey's shortly thereafter around 9am. I went to Target to get some more yogurt and Jello. Got back home, surfed around the web for awhile, when I presently surprised something that greatly made my day. Now I plan on getting both Madden and ESPN's new games this year, and while I was worried about shelling out the extra 100 bones for both titles I just learned I'll be shelling out only $70. As Sega just announced ESPN NFL 2K5, will be released for the ultra-low budget price of $20. I was shocked, Sega ain't skimpin out on extra features either, they're packing in an enhanced and more in-depth Franchise, First Person, and Crib modes and online play will now have leagues, and there will be more new controls over tackling. Man am I pumped, this will be a great season for sports games, as I plan on getting both ESPN and Madden 2005, along with ESPN NBA Baskteball. Man I hope Sega discounts their NBA, and NHL games this as I might just pick them up too if they're only gonna be 20 bucks. The announcement completely shocked me as I figured I price drop to just $35 or even $30 would leave the same rippling effect, but just 20 bucks!?!?!? damn that is one helluva deal. Hopefully this will give Sega a big share in the football gaming market it has deserved for so long.

Back on track to my day on Friday now, I went out with my dad to have pie at the Home of Economy snack bar around 3pm. I picked up a father's day gift for him too there, at the checkouts I saw this gal working the checkouts, the same gal I ran into at that one party last fall, Vivian. I use to work at Hardee's with her a couple years back and at that party when I ran into her we just had this odd pause when we first ran into each other there and hugged. I talked to her for a few minutes there, and was actually thinking about asking her out, but didn't as I still looked kinda out of it with swelled cheeks from my surgery, and she was working with a few other cashiers nearby too and I didn't want to make a scene or anything like that in front of them, plus I still need to find out if she's seeing anyone.

So shortly after I got back home, Chris & Kyle came over to help get my router installed so I could get my PS2 and Xbox going for online gaming again. We got it set up, and bs'd for games for awhile and headed to Best Buy, I said I heard they had a mega game clearence sale where they had about 50 games advertised for being clearenced at $5. Hell, can't pass up buying games at rental prices, but when we got there almost all their 5 dollar games were sold off. I did however, finally pick up Top Spin for Xbox for only 30 bucks. I read great reviews on it, and I figured Id love since I was a big fan of Virtua Tennis and I read this game is just as good as that.

Kyle and Chris dropped me off back at my place afterwards and I gave Scott a ring and he came over around 9pm. We played a round of Madden 2004, and he wad a good competitive game, but he still beat me by a couple touchdowns. We then did co-op in Metal Slug 3, but kept running out of continues at level 2. Which sucked big time, but after that I let him try out Knights of the Old Republic on Xbox as he wanted to see what its like so he can borrow it for his newly purchased Xbox. He loved it, played it for a while, then we did some rounds of Top Spin, and as I thought, it was a damn fun tennis title. After that I showed him Morrowing for a little while, and then I said I'm going online for a lil while before I go to bed, as he said he'll play some more KotOR before he crashed at my place. And we've both been doing this for about a good hour now, so I'm gonna finally get some zzzzs. Still got 3 more days off that I gotta make the most out of...latez!!!!!
