Howdy all!!! I'm four days into the work week, and man have they been dragging. I'm doing five eight hour shifts instead of my usual four ten's since there's no work for me in Plano this week. I have to work tonight still, then I get one day off and go back to work for three more days.
Last Sunday went all right, hung out with Scott for the first time outside of work. Played a little bit of Tony Hawk 4, a round of Madden 2004, and Halo. Then he had to take off after a few hours. Joey came over right afterwards and we played Madden 2004 also, but he quit by halftime after I was smoking him. We then watched Pulp Fiction and that was about it for that weekend.
Now I'm a ways into my work week. On Monday I went over to my folks and met up with Ann, Jane, and Shawn and we played this cool board game dubbed Outburst for a few hours. I packed up my computer finally and moved it over to my place. I then proceeded on to Corey's for a good 'ol BBQ. I watched the first half of game 7 of Lakers/T-Wolves and then had to leave for work. I thought the T-Wolves had a chance since they were only down by 2 at the half, but I got a call from Rich a few hours into my work shift saying they lost by 6 and are now eliminated from the playoffs. At least they Wolves made it that far, I'm glad to see them make it past the first and second rounds in team history.
I hooked up my computer Tuesday and on Wendesday the cable guy came and installed my cable internet, so thank god i can be back online at old schedule again, and this time without worrying over the family seeing who gets to go online first so huzzah! I got back into taping my shows again now that I also have cable television. I watched another episode of The Shield, about the fifth new episode I caught of the third season, and according to FX there is only two new episodes left. Also on Wendesday I hung out with Richard and we shot some hoops as he kicked my ass in 21, we then headed back to my place where he swamped me in NBA 2K3. He did the exact same thing on Thursday too. Richard will be moving to Auburn, CA this Saturday, and now two of my friends will be gone to Cali......should I join the trend? I have no idea if I really have anything going for me here, I'm still debating on weather or not to take that summer writing class, and I know my working abilities aren't respected all that well at my job as I have described before, so I have been in this big mess for the past while deciding on what to do with my life. I just hope that fate runs its course and that something comes up for me.
Before I leave, I forgot in one of my last posts a link to my latest review.....this one for Midway's latest arcade hoop-fest, NBA Ballers on X-Box. I linked it to the website I work for now as I hate the way reviews look on GameFAQs since their new site design went into effect. Enjoy, latez!
