Hey yo! 3 days thru the work week, with nothing really special happenin so far. Monday and Tuesday kinda dragged, Carlos tends to be a bit of a hard-ass at work, even tho hes not even the actual boss. Get fed up with him after a while and I think one of these days I really am gonna snap at him. He was sick yesterday night, and we had an easy workload too so huzzah for me!
Tuesday was my moms 57th birthday, went by all right, minus everyone overreacting to some stupid little incident at the beginning of the day. We went out to eat at Paradiso, and came back and had cake with my mom, all in all, a fine day. Felt like I really didn't get to visit my mom that much on her B-Day, so I gave her a call up yesterday and went out for lunch with her at Wendy's.
Well, I finally got some new pots and pans, for free I might add. My co-worker Steve, use to work at a different Target and he said they just threw away all their old display models, he said he had several sets of pots and pans, never before used, and that he just took them home with him from old sets, and offered them to me after he heard me going on about how I still needed some pots and pans for my apartment earlier this week. So thank God for him, they were brand new nice $200 sets of calphalon pans that he gave me too, so it ain't no cheap shit. He also gave me a spare blender too. I'll finally be able to cook up some good old fashioned meals now. About time, thank you Steve-O!
So how about that Iron Man match on RAW this past Monday? What a damn good show, minus all the dumb excess of promotion for the RAW Diva contest. The battle royal rocked, I was seriously rooting for Maven I might add, he might be my favorite undergod now, taking over the ranks of Steve Blackman and Big Bossman since they're no longer around. The boatload of interference in the last 10 mins of the Iron Man match didn't really ruin anything, as I was expecting Eugene to get some sort of Vengeance on HHH in one way or another that day. Rumors are going wild that Orton is slated to win the belt from Benoit at Summerslam, I wouldn't be surprised either as the WWE loves to push 3rd Generation stars like crazy ala The Rock.
Speaking of wrestling, I just got my Benoit: Hard Knocks DVD and Ric Flair: To Be the Man autobiography in the mail yesterday. Started reading up the Flair book at work last night (first book I started to read in several months I might add) on breaks, tho I think it'll take a bit longer to read it since Conan 'O Brian is now on during our breaks and he is hard to ignore. The Benoit DVD should rule as there are 15 killer bonus matches spanning his entire career. That is about all for now. Later!
