Hey yo! Finished up the work week and I'm midway into my first day of a 5 day vacation :) Wendesday my mom invited me over with the rest of the family for barbeques, and that was pretty fun, work didn't go over so well that night tho as we were resetting the freezer and I was there practically all night. On Thursday my dad's work had some 'bring your family' picnic deal going on, and you can't complain with free food. Worked stocking that night, when I got off I had a bunch of little errands to do across town, and by the time I got home and to bed it was 2pm. Didn't wake up until 10pm, I was offered some approved overtime tonight, but passed up on it, kind of regretting it now tho as I could use the extra cash.
Corey gave me a ring shortly after I got up and he came over and we watched the Jets/Saints preseason game. Former highschool classmate, Brooks Bollinger was the #2 QB and he came in after the Jets' first series. He had a rough start as he had two turnover within his first 3 plays. But afterwards he didn't do too bad as he went 7 for 11 and almost 100 yards passing in the little over two quarters he played, and led the Jets to a TD scoring Drive. But the Saints still beat them 23-13. Just a preseason game tho so it really didn't matter, but right now the commentators were speculating on weather or not the Jets would be comfortable with Bollinger as #2 after his sloppy start today. Hope he's still with the team come season kickoff.
That's about all for now. I need to catch up in my franchises in ESPN and Madden so I can hopefully get around to reviewing them sometime soon. Peace!
