Welcome to hell!!!

Hey yo! Well I had a decent weekend after finishing up the work week with no problems on Friday morning. On Friday I had the option to come into work and get some overtime in and I figured if I wasn't up to anything any good by 10pm that I'd get the OT which woulda been pretty nice with the bills. However around 6 pm, AJ gave me a ring asked to get some drinking going on, we went to liquor store and I got me a $6 liter of cheap-ass brandi. We then picked up Jarod and his gal, Dawn to join in on the fun, Jarod wanted to go to El Roco to pick up something for himself. When he did the unthinkable happened....when he pit his liter of vodka down on the floormat, he claimed it lightly tapped my bottle of brandi and caused it to bust open and get all over the floor of my vehicle.

So now my vehicle reeked of brandi. Greeeeat. Regardless of that horrendous smell in my vehicle we still went back to my place to play some PNA and hang out for a few hours. On the way back to drop Jarod off he wanted to stop by the Hardees drive-thru to get some munchees, while waiting for our food Jarod decided to barf out the window......and got my door drenched in barf. But at least he bought me a Hardee's burger for all his troubles. When I got back home I chilled with AJ for awhile, and he is this big Trekkie and we watched an episode of the original series. Afterwards we got into this ridiculously deep conversation that went nowhere, and was just pointless to talk about, and I finally dropped him off around 5 in the morning or so.

On Saturday, shortly after I got up I went over and helped my co-worker, Steve, move. We did two loads back and fourth, and spent a good four hours at it, it was a hell of a workout that was for sure and he treated me to steak on him at Speedway. Best damn steak I had in a while. Very nice of him I must say. When I got home, I just relaxed, and watched some television, and typed up my review for MLB Slugfest: Loaded, which you can check out by clicking here .

Sunday was kinda fun, had Steve over for awhile, we played a couple battle royals in Showdown, and then two rounds of ESPN NFL 2K5, first I smoked him as the Vikings against Steve's Panthers by a score of 39-7. In the second game tho, I was the 49ers and just couldn't do anything with my crappy receiving core and lost 24-14. I think Rattay went about 6-20 passing, which was pretty damn pathetic. Then Steve left and I played some online rounds of War3 with Rocket and Joey, and boy does my shitty AMD 700 come to a halt when the action gets intense. A decent weekend in the end, but I do kind of regret skimping out on the rarely approved overtime at work.
