Me and Corey were discussing this earlier this week, and I just posted it on J-Dog's blog so I may as well post it here. We were discussing how unpopular Soccer is here in America, and how Corey found out Soccer is the number one sport in the world in all but 4 countries. We decided to rank the top 10 real sports/competitions (sorry pro wrestling) by their popularity in America, and here's the sad truth about Soccer.
1) Football
2) Baseball
3) Basketball
4) Hockey
5) NASCAR
6) Golf
7) Tennis
8) Poker (!?)
9) Bowling
10) Soccer
Yes the world's number one sport, ranks number 10, this list is pretty much as accurate to Corey and I, and once you think about it, it does match up. Go ahead and reply with your own top 10.
