Hey, yo! Just finished up the work week, which was more of the same. However, Steve pointed out to me on Sunday that I had a minor dent on the bumper of my vehicle, which made it look like it was the victim of a minor parking accident hit-and-run. Nothing too overly bad in damage, I hope my insurance will cover it without making me pay a deductable.
My fantasy team, and the 49ers both lost. No stat update this week, too lazy :D 49ers actually showed promise against the Panthers and had the lead in the fourth quarter before blowing it again when Rattay threw his 4th pick of the game. In Fantasy play, my weak running core is really showing, Clinton Portis doing really good, but everyone else blows it big time. Eddie George is doing what he can in his limited role, but his 9 points he got me this week was the most he got me all season. Stephon Davis is out for the year :( and Bennett is only getting a limited amount of time with carries along with Williams, Smith, and Moore. I did end up trading Brooks away as my QB for Kevan Barlow from Corey, so hopefully things will pick up.
Found out I got accepted into UND, but now I changed my mind and want to go into the Tech because I found out they offer a Liberal Arts degree in English. The tuition would be a bit cheaper to boot. So now I'm gonna have to go over and re-apply all over again.
RAW was a pretty good show, awesome to see the mighty Maven in charge. I enjoyed his main event match with HHH, even though it took 3 other dudes to make him seem like an actual threat for the belt. Too bad to see La Rez lose the belts so early after re-capturing the belts. I got an eerie feelin they'll get them back at this New Year's Revolution PPV. Even though it's in January I think it's the RAW brand PPV for December now. This is getting insane. That's 15 PPV's in 2005 from one company, and in my opinion I wouldn't want to spend $35 twice a month. Maybe a good idea to toss around is when two PPV's are out each month to lower PPV costs to about $20-25 or so and then I'd believe there'd be a nice peak in buy rates.
Had my interview at Software Etc. the other day, got hired as temporary seasonal help up until about mid-January the guy said. I probably wouldn't have taken the job if the hours weren't so damn convenient. He said I will be making only minimum wage, so that totally blows. I didn't expect Software Etc.'s starting wage to be that low. Just a couple 4-6's and 4-8's mon-friday and no weekends. But at least this little extra cash should help me with all the extra shopping I need to do with X-Mas gifts.
That's all for now...latez!
