Thanksgiving was great, the joy of divorced parents is celebrating it twice. Now I know a lot of people give me puzzled looks when I tell them that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year, but it is for good reason. Sit down with your family and friends and enjoy the best damn meal of the year without worrying about buying gifts for whoever. You couldn't ask for anything more than that. First off on the actual day of Thanksgiving, I celebrated it with my mom, Jane, Shawn, Joey, Ann, Bob, Summer, and her brother Chris. I guess mom schedule the dinner earlier than usual (1pm) to fit it into Bob's schedule. Everything was going fine, I had a good time visiting with everyone and watching Manning destroy the Lions on television. Not too bad of a day, stuffed myself silly, and ended up passing out around midnight.

-Those new bud commercials with the refs are funny as hell, killer way for Bud to strike back against Miller

The day after Thanksgiving went all right. Went to Best Buy and Target with Chris to check out some of the sales. Didn't go right when the stores opened at 6am, I made sure to give myself a decent amount of sleep so I can at least be partially prepared for working my two shifts today. Picked up a couple things for myself as Xmas gifts. Got volume one of Seinfeld on DVD, didn't get a chance to watch any of the episodes yet, probably will over the weekend. 'twas only $28 at Target, a nice $12 off its original $40 listing. Then I got Chapelle Show Season 1 for a surprising $10 at Best Buy.

Celebrated Thanksgiving again with my dad today at Jane & Shawn's with Ann joining us as well. Another spectacular meal that I enjoyed greatly. Got back in town just in time to start my first day of work at Software Etc. That went by ok, I'm suppose to stock there, but they didn't get their product shipment in today, so this other new guy, Evan, and I that are suppose to handle new shipments just kinda zoned product for 15 minutes or so before the boss gave us the task of alphabatizing the PSone games, which hadn't been done for a week he said. That took about an hour to do, and was a minor annoyance, but Evan and I just reminissed about all the titles we were putting back up so that made things go by a little smoother. Got off about 45 minutes early, kinda sad to go in and work a 45 minute shift, but it wasn't all that bad. I'm scheduled for a whopping four hours next week, I really hope I get at least 10 hours a week or so, this low rate of hours to work is really sad.

I'm about to work my other 8 hour shift at Target right now, and then I get two days off so yay for me!!!
