-Finally got two things that have been long overdue. One was my online gift certificate from winning GameFAQs review of the month back in September. I got a $25 certificate for ebgames.com, and I already get a 10% discount there for subscribing to GameSpot complete, so I got Katamari Demacy with fast shipping and still had about 50 cents leftover. I hope the game is as good as a sleeper hit as everyone makes it out to be. I also finally got my "Buy 2 easports games Get 1 free" offer where I got Tiger Woods 2005 in the mail today. EA said 6-8 weeks after my check process, and I got it on X-Mas eve, prolly one of the last days the mail was sent out this 8th week. Thanks for taking your sweet time EA. I still haven't got access to my old Gruel account on GameFAQs yet, sent another feedback post to CJayC the other day, hopefully things will get resolved soon.

-I've been meaning to do this forever, and I finally finished, my own DVD catalog via dvdaficionado.com. You can check it out here!

-Big Christmas celebration went awesome. Same family crows as last year as the Bennetts (Sherrie, Rob, Nicole, Briana) the Groffs (Bob, Summer, Mackayla) and the Haines (Jane, Shawn, Adrian, Kadeance). Had an awesome Christmas dinner, and visited for awhile. We started playing a round of Trivial Pursuit: 90's edition, got a couple hours into it but gave up as we all just felt so stupid at some of its own mind-boggling questions. I guess I hear Trivial Pursuit is known for making you feel stupid. After that we all played some Texas Hold 'em for awhile, and I actually faired pretty well, placing second out of six family members. Oh yeah, I guess it wouldn't be a post-Christmas entry without the expected list of gifts I got:

-New Winter Coat
-New Wallet
-Marilyn Manson greatest hits CD
-Seinfeld Season 3 DVD set
-2 Drawer Filing Cabinet
-Mini Tool Kit
-Screwdriver set
-Simpsons Duff Beer Mug
-Simpsons: Hit and Run (Xbox)

Got too many new games to play now, with Hit and Run, Tiger 2005, Rocky Legends, and TOCA Race Driver 2. Tried out Rocky Legends the other day, controls almost exactly like the last Rocky, except with some minor additions: gameplay speed is much slower, I dunno if this is because I tried my first round in Novice and everything is at a slower pace to allow for better timing of punches, but that's what I'm hoping for. But the story mode is a lot better, Kubryk will probably love it as you can recreate the storyline for any main boxer from the Rocky films (except for Tommy Gunn, thankfully) and recreate their rode to the top. Just too bad they took out online play at the last moment.

-Saw the Vikes lose to the Pack in a mighty good game of offense. Michael Bennett had his first great game of the season, highest amount of points he got me in a fantasy game thus far this season (18). Too bad to see the Vikes lose, but I wouldn't have it be to any other team besides the admirable Brett Favre and his Packers. That and the Vikes still have a great chance to make it in the playoffs anyways in the horrendous NFC. They guarentee an appearence if they win their game this Sunday, and even if they lose they still have a solid shot at making the playoffs so huzzah for them.

-That's it for me today, Merry X-Mas everyone!
