Another weekend gone, huzzah for me. Before I move on, I want to mention I forgot to say in my last entry I finished up Stone Cold's autobiography last week. It was ok, but for such a long and storied career as his, he really makes it short and makes his 5 year career at WCW seem like nothing, and focuses a lot of it on his mega success in the WWE. Interesting, but I I wouldn't rate it any higher than a 6/10. Don't have any other books to read now, except I boatload of comics I recently got (more on that below) so I'll prolly read those for the time being.

Friday night I didn't do anything too exciting, I had some tentative plans that didn't plan out as I thought so I went over to my folks and hung around with Ann and Joey for a few hours that night. Played a few rounds of Halo 2 with Joey, and watched Malibu's Most Wanted with Joe and Ann. Was ok, nothing too great, Anthony Anderson saved the movie thankfully. That guy rules, he can play the shittiest of all roles and make them Golden. After there I took off and went shopping at Wally's since Target was close to get a birthday card for a birthday party for my sister Sherrie in Fargo the next day.

Ran into my old roommate Matt there. First time I talked to him in almost 3 years. Reminisced with him for a good 20 minutes or so. Good to run into him again, was one of my best friends way back when. He told me he's a big collector of movies, figures, and comics now. He remembered the dynamic forces cover of Ultimate Spider-Man #1 I got at a comic book store for just $15, and is now worth around $200 or so now. He pointed out a great comic book store for me to hit up in Fargo called Comic Junction. Happened to just run across it there while I was traversing across Fargo the next day and I bought $55 worth of Punisher comics I left off collecting on since 2003.

Since I was up working the day before I didn't get a chance to alter my sleep pattern and therefore just got only an hour nap cause I had to leave to Fargo by 10am. Sherries party in Fargo wasn't all that bad. Ann, Joe, Sherrie's mother-in-law, Jane and her two kids, Mom, Bob and Summer and their kid and their friend Mike made it down there and we ate had a good ol time at Happy Joes. I usually don't socialize that well at family gatherings and mostly just keep to myself but I decided to socialize with damn near everybody that day. I was surprised at how well of a conversationalist I was that day. By the time I got back home at 6pm I was ready to crash hard, but I already promised Corey and Carlos Id go to the Casino with them since it has been nearly 2 years since I was at a casino. After that night I remembered why I hated them. I lost about $65 that night, but I milked it out for a good hour and a half and made sure to have a couple of beers and a nice T-Bone steak to help compensate. Also heard some funny tales about some other coworkers from Corey and Carlos. Drove through some shitty sleet on the way back make the ride home even longer. Played a couple rounds of Tiger Woods 2005 with them before coming back home and crashing hard. I slept for 13 hours, all of it nice, hard sleep. 'twas awesome.

Sunday was ok. Hung out with Steve, and we tried out a round of MLB 2K5. For being the first simulation baseball game I actually finished a round of since.......World Series Baseball 2K1, it was pretty damn good. Home Run Derby also had a nice touch on it, and it wasn't as long or drawn out as the older Home Run Derbies I remember from previous baseball games. Played some Halo 2, and then some NBA Inside Drive 2004. I played NASCAR Chase for the Cup for the first time in a while too, actually of a sudden learned how to race and finished first place and shocked the hell out of myself. The game is fun again, by god. Watched another tape from the load I got a couple weeks ago. This time, Beavis and Butthead Do America. Getting past the trademark irritating grunting laughs from the two, its still a funny movie, with some nice running gags to keep things moving along. Not as good as I was hoping for, but still fairly decent nonetheless. If you loved the old cartoon show, you'll prolly dig the film too.

Thats it for this weekend. Latez
