-How bout dat Super Bowl? In my opinion, it was an ok game, picked up a lot offensive-wise in the last quarter, with the occasional big play/drive that managed to keep me from losing interest in the first 3 quarters. Actually, this is going to sound lame, only reason I watched the Super Bowl was because of Terell Owens to see how well he'd play. Of course I was rooting for the Eagles obviously, but moreorless I was rooting for TO. And man what a game he had, you could barely tell the guy just came off a severe ankle surgery. 9 catches for over 100 yards, no drops, and the only passes he didn't catch were poorly thrown ones to TO. If Owens would have got a TD it would have made my day. Sure, you can put all the blame on the Pats weakened secondary that gave up over 100 yards to TO like the media has, but then also fail to mention how that same Pats defense picked off McNabb three times in the same sentence.

It it weren't for those three picks and Andy Reid's horrible clock management in the fourth quarter, then hands down Philly would have won this game. Neglecting those picks I will give McNabb some credit and say he turned in a solid performance with 3 TD passes and over 300 yards passing, but those picks he threw costing him the game will forever haunt him unless he makes up for it by winning a Super Bowl, much like John Elway did to erase his previous Super Blunders. I guess this is where I give the Pats their props for playing a great game, and making few mistakes, their defense really shined today, and if it were me I'd give the MVP award to Rodney Harrison or Tony Bruski for their outstanding performance. Deion Branch was deserving of it too though, I'm pretty sure its safe to say no one thought it'd be him who'd walk out with the Super Bowl MVP award. Only the fourth wide receiver to get that honor too. Congrats to him.

-I finished up the Death of WCW book last Friday at work. Really good read, RD and Alvarez do one hell of a job recollecting WCW's best and worst moments. I even learned a few new interesting things in it I never knew of before. It's packed full of information, well-written, and held my interest throughout the book. Only thing I could have asked for more out of it was more info to when the nWo split up into two for 1998, what the authors thought of the interesting Royal Rumble & Battle Royal matches that took place on 2000. Oh yeah, I wished they could have referenced the last actual WCW show being the syndicated Worldwide following Nitro a week later and their thoughts on that. Other than those nitpicks, this book reeks of awesomeness. For any big wrestling fan, especially old-school WCW fans, I give this book my highest recommendation.

I was at the bookstore this past weekend and spotted a new WWE paperback book I didn't even see an advertisement before. It has Big Show and Rey Mysterio on a harley on the cover and is about the WWE Superstar's craziest stories of their travels on the road. I can't believe those guys are trying to make a profit off of bar stories, c'mon now, leave them in the bar ;) I passed on the book at the moment, I'll prolly buy it anyways soon enough, and just started up Stone Cold's biography yesterday. This one is going to be interesting. Austin should prolly wait another 10 year's for his bio to release, as it seems as each year goes by there's several private and public events that usually circle around him that garner mainstream attention to the wrestling crowd.

-My contract for my cellphone is up this coming June when I'll officially be done with the whore chain known as Cingular/CellOne. I've been with them three and a half years, and the last two have been a living hell after dealing with their increasing monthly fees and taxes (when I signed up in Nov 2001 they were at about $6 a month, now its more than doubled at $13), two phones of their's that crapped out on me which resulted in me geting replacement phones from them and increasing my contract with them against my will. For the past several months Corey & Carlos have been shilling them like crazy since they switched to them last year. They can pretty much be the official spokespeople for Verizon since they keep telling me how horrible CellOne is, and even though I agree with them in how I loathe my current cellphone provider they keep rubbing it in my face how awful they are and how I'm still stuck with them for almost another four months.

My friend Steve recently switched to Qwest cellular service and he says they have the same coverage area and monthly billing rates as Verizon. I asked him why he chose them and listed off the many great reasons about Verizon that Corey and Carlos keep throwing at me, and he says they pretty much match their offers and have a couple other minor quirks, only throwback to them is you have to pay $50-100 for your cool flip-phone instead of getting the free one that Verizon is now giving away. So I think I'm going to look into both Verizon and Qwest come late May to see who has the better promotion offers and I'll go from there. I told Carlos this at break at work yesterday, and he was shocked that I even mentioned I was considering looking into Qwest, he asked me all the same questions I asked Steve and still looked in disbelief as if I was telling him a big joke. As of right now I'll just sign up for Qwest just out of pure spite towards Carlos :D

Anyways, the real point of this rant is I want to know your guys hell stories with cellphone dealers, who you trust and why, and who to avoid and your previous bad experiences with other companies. Thanks in advance for all your feedback!
