drunk off my arse again

Another week is wrapped up. I took Monday off for my birthday, and that went really well. Dad treated me for some breakfast pie in the morning, then Mom took me for some lunch, and then met up with the rest of the family for dinner at Wild Wings. Had all sides of the family there and I was worried that there was going to be some serious arguments between some who really haven't been in the same building with each other in years, but thankfully there were no problems a brewing. I'm tired of finding extra time celebrating bdays and holidays with separate families, and thought this was worth a shot planning, glad I did. After celebrating with the family, I met up with Carlos, Bob, and his roommate Mike at Bucs to get my free birthday bucket. Ended up staying there bs'ing with them until midnight or so. I got called to play musical chairs with 4 other peepz, and placed second and won a Bud keychain. Huzzah for me. Good birthday all in all.

Here's my birthday gift list rundown

-Flashlight generator
-Dagger
-belt clip watch
-3 shirts
-Funky lava lamp
-Twisted Metal (PSP)
-Mario Golf (GBA)
-Doom 3 Collectors Edition (Xbox)
-Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle
-24 Season 2

And Sherrie said she'd gimme a lift to the airport and back for my trip to E3. Flying out of Minneapolis saves me a helluva lot of money than from here in Forks. Round trip from Minneapolis to LA is $215, from my town just an hour flight away from the twin cities, the round trip got boosted up to $650.

Anywho the work week was yet another easy one. Sounds like we come back for another stretch of busy weeks starting tonight however. I made this weekend a lot more mello one than compared to last. I ended up staying up Friday quite a bit after work doing various errands like finally getting a haircut, and renewing my lease. Can't believe I've already been at my place for a year now. By the time I woke up it was 10pm and felt like kicking back at home. Joe, Chris, and Ann came over and hung out for a few hours and watched Undercover Brother. Ann said I had nothing good to eat at my place and said she would come over Saturday to make me a real meal. I thought she was joking, but sure enough she swung by Saturday and made me some Taco Salad. 'twas mighty nice of her. Dad joined us, and later all three of us watched the Akoryd/Murphy classic, Trading Spaces.

Saturday I also saw Sahara at the theatre. Pretty good adventure flick overall, but there were a couple things I couldn't buy into, then again every movie has those scenes, but Sahara really pushed the 'luck' envelope, and that's all I can say. But I like it, you should see it too! Sunday was another mello day, Chris came over and we played several hours into the Halo 2 co-op. Finally getting back into that game, gotta be close to beating it by now, I'm at the tenth level where the Chief and Arbiter are with that Octopus dude giving them orders and stuff. Steve came over later that night and got a lucky win over me in NFL 2K5. Yeah, so that was my weekend, nothing too special, I think I'll change that next weekend though.

Latez!
