Wow what a weekend, and I still have one day to go as I took an extra day off for my b-day today. The work week was a nice easy load again, and it was Carlos's last week with us as he starts a new job today at a lumberyard. So on Friday night, I and several other coworkers joined him at one of the local clubs for a big farewell party for him. Now I'm usually pretty shy and untalkative at big group settings with lots of people, so I had a couple drinks at home to help loosen me up when I get there.

So by the time I got to the bar I was ready to get some more drinks in me. Keep in mind I just woke up an hour before I got to the bar and didn't get a chance to get any food in me, so my intoxication level rapidly rised as I got a couple tall brews in me. I guess a couple of the other coworkers I usually dont hang with but know me via smalltalk cause of working with me for so long were really happy to see me out there and getting out for once. I just told them I only do this about a handful of times a year. I played some pool with Carlos and another coworker and had my ass handed to me for a few hours, I got back to our bar table where one other coworker decided to get me a Yager bomb. I love those :) Anyways another coworker decided to split pitchers with me and I had even more drinks and by this time I was completely out of it. I danced with this one hot gal I knew from work for awhile, I probably made an ass out of myself in my intoxicated state on the dance floor, but I didn't care. After that, I drank some more, and then stumbled around the bar talking to random people about whatever was on mind. I think I talked to one group of dudes about the Twolves game and ran into one person I use to work with at another older job. Then the bar closed and somebody drove me home. I got home and got a urge to go online and plague the RC boards with more incoherent rambling there I'm known for, but instead I decided to go hurl and pass out :D

I woke up and got a hold of Corey to give me a ride back to the bar to get my vehicle I left behind. I bought him some lunch as a thank you for it and we checked out some games at Gamestop, and I finally got around to reserving Wrestlemania 21 for Xbox which is looking to shape up to finally be the first real great wrestling game for the Xbox. I hung out with Chris and Kyle then for most of the day. We tried out and played that Spikeout for awhile, which was a pretty decent 3D brawler at best, but kind of got repetitive and a little boring after awhile. At Kyle's we played some more Spikeout, and then proceeded to beat all of Deathrow in one night. I got back home and played Xbox Live with Rocket a bit. I conquered him in NBA 2K5, and beat him for the first time in probably a year when he was still in town. I beat his 76ers by 20 points with a score of 103-83, with my Pacers coming out on top. So huzzah for me. We then tore it up in Halo 2 for an hour or so before I finally passed out.

Sunday was the big 'ol Wrestlemania 21 bash. Third straight year I ordered the PPV. Corey, Steve, Chris, and Bob made it for all of the fun, and it was a blast. I think 21 was a little better than last year's 20, had some expected dull parts, but there was a lot more better stuff here than 20. The 6 man ladder match and Angle/HBK stole the show. The ladder match just had a bunch of amazing spots that managed to keep me interested throughout, Shelton and Benoit definitely had the best performances of the match, Shelton running up the ladder all quicklike was an amazing spot that will be forever imprinted in Wrestlemania history. I kept thinking Kane's sole purpose in that match was to be on top of the ladder about to grab the belt when Pete Rose made his surprise return to Wrestlemania and shove Kane off the ladder. Good to see the Hulkster do his lil schtick and beat up the dirty arabs. Piper looked drunk right off the bat when he started up Piper's Pit. Good interview segment, and nice to see Carlito get his tail kicked too. Randy Orton/Undertaker was a bit better than I anticipated thankfully, Orton got a great DDP-like RKO spot worth checking out. Rey/Eddy was good, but not as great WM-calibur worthy as I was hoping for. The Sumo and Womens title match were a complete waste of time and space. Cena/JBL would have been a good TV match, but it just felt like a match with nothing special about it, with Cena getting the win with a very unclimatic build to the finish in a match that really deserved one to end JBL's 9 month+ title reign. Batista/HHH started off kind of slow but I eventually got into it towards the end and the finish was a lot more well done than the other title match.

Right now the day is just a few hours into my 22nd b-day. I'm hoping it will go well, but I never know with my family. I typed myself to death again, that's it for this entry, post-bday coming tomorrow around this time....if I'm sober enough.
