I did this article for my overall thoughts of E3, more in-depth analysis of my experience there will come later this weekend........

It was a little easier to play some of the 360 games than I thought. I enjoyed Top Spin 2, but wasn't impressed that much with NFS Most Wanted. I did like what I saw with Saint's Row and Kameo, both look to be one of the more promising titles at the 360 launch. Wish they would've had a show floor demonstration of PD Zero though. Microsoft did have a great lineup of third party games playable though. However it does look like their first party support for the system is wanning faster than I expected. I thought they'd announce a few titles out of nowhere for it like Nintendo did for its platforms.

As odd as it sounds, Nintendo both surprised and disappointed me. Other than the backwards compatibility announcement, they gave away no info about Revolution. A prototype model, what gives? And not even a controller shown, jeesh! However, they did shock me positively with their amazing support for the GBA and GCN this late in their lifecycles. That goes for previously announced, and newly announced titles.

Even though Nintendo is famous for producing many odd spin-offs of the Mario franchise, I did enjoy my time with Mario Strikers and Mario Baseball. Nintendo knows how to make their arcade sports games. GBA support is still strong surprisingly too. I thought it'd be dead within a year or so, but now with the announcement of the GB Micro, it looks like Nintendo just extended product support for a few more years. The DS support is also through the roof, I was pretty concerned for the DS with its lack of games its first few months, but there was a boatload of new DS games playable, and a lot of them have potential to be huge.

Besides Burnout, there wasn't anything that stuck out for the PSP for me. I wanted to see how Midnight Club 3 and Grand Theft Auto looked for it, but oddly Rockstar didn't have it playable or any trailer videos for it either (they didn't have a damn thing to show actually). Judging by the specs, the PS3 easily has the edge over the 360, though I wasn't all that crazy about the boomerang-ish controller. I thought the Xbox proved there wasn't a market for big, bulky controllers.

Current gen games I enjoyed my time with the most on the floor included MotoGP3 for Xbox, 24 for PS2, Mario Strikers, Mario Baseball, Odama for GCN, and my overall fave has to go to Zelda: Twighlight Princess. Yes it was worth the three hour wait to check it out.
