Another work week done, hooray. Still suppose to be working now, but got off two and a half hours early cuz I stayed late a few other days and the boss didn't want me to get overtime. This week wasn't nearly as bad as last week with the last two days especially going by rather nice, but it did start off a bit heavy. Thankfully its done and I'm looking forward to another weekend.
Kevin came over a few days during the week and we gamed it up a bit. We must have played at least several games of basketball. We had two close games yesterday, with him beating me by about 5 points for his Pistons to beat my Celtics, and the other one had me nailing a buzzerbeater to skip past overtime and allow my Trailblazers to dethrone Kevin's Pacers by two points. Those were by far our most intense games, far more intenseful than the Spurs' game 1 blowout of the Pistons in the NBA Finals last night. I hope that the Spurs go all the way, that would rule. Gooo Bowen!
Other than Kevin swinging over I have been keeping up on my television lately, now with 24, Joey, and That 70s show all done for this season I have been trying to tape other shows lately. I'm taping the 2 hour animation domination block Sunday nights on FOX. Always loved The Simpsons and Family Guy, although American Dad still hasn't won me over just yet. I also have been trying to tape ESPN's new "Whos #1" episodes they have been rolling out lately, now with Trey Wingo instead of Stuart Scott as the host. Finally, for my last open slot I have resorted to taping Heat again, nothing more than I enjoy watching Viscera and Maven at their best. Though this Sunday's Heat is going to be "Extreme" for the ECW pre-game show. If anyone has any good recommendations for current sitcoms/late night dramas/sports themed shows, I am more than willing for you to sell them to me. I'm always looking for something interesting to watch. By the way, speaking of tv show, I started a profile on that new tv.com site. It's kinda cool, they got summaries and episode guides for damn near every television series that ever graced the screen, you can even contribute your own reviews and scores. Here's my profile for all the shows that I rated thusfar. Looking at it now, I think I already overrated some shows a wee bit and might have to go back and adjust some scores later on. Let me know what you think of my scores, I love talking shop on some of my favorite tv series.
Finally I have been getting a bit more games lately. 3 this week alone, I know I got too damn many. But blame Microsoft, their retail site finally got in copies of Jade Empire and Forza Motorsport so I was finally able to score those for cheap this week. And after I seemingly forgot about it alltogether, San Andreas finally came out for Xbox after I have had it paid off for a great while now. I hope to get a chance to devote some time to all of them this weekend. Time to go enjoy it, latez!
