-I saw Cinderella Man on Friday and Russel Crowe does one helluva job in this amazing tale of one of the best comeback stories of all time. It is set back in the great depression and tells the tale of how one of boxings promising up and comers took a turn for the worse in the midst of the great depression and makes one helluva comeback against all odds. The fight scenes are also some of the most well produced ones I have ever scene too. If you're a sucker for a well told boxing film like the early Rocky films or Ragin Bull, than I highly recommend checking this out. I'll go 9.5/10

-Chris and I watched Coach Carter on DVD later that day too. It was a little better than I expected, Samuel L Jackson did a good job in this as the coach of a high school basketball team coming back from a horrible season. Only character I couldn't really stand was that one dude with the fro, and a bit wee too much focus on the whole storyline with that one guy and his pregenant girlfriend. Other than that I really liked this, a lil too much drama but some scenes had me feeling for the characters. Good sports movie that I think would prolly rank near the bottom half of Top 10 basketball flicks of all time. 7.5/10

-Later that night Chris and I finally beat the final level in Halo 2. We've been picking away at it since launch in co-op by doing a level here and a level there. That boss battle was cool and all, but didn't really feel like I just finished off a final boss and the abrupt ending blows. Yes, it'll end up probably making me get Halo 3 to finish off the story.

-On Saturday I went to my first demoliton derby event in several years up in Grafton. I can't believe I skimped out on them for these past several years, I have always been a big fan of the demolition derby games which have probably been causing me to neglect the actual events taking place all these years. Had a blast there with my dad, and afterwards I had one of the best steak dinners I had in a long time at the Tuel Shed up in Warsaw. I might have to make more trips out there more often just for that steak dinner.

-Actually managed to make it to church today first time in a while today. Dad and I had some breakfast at Perkins right after and than went out for a casual Sunday drive in the newer parts of town way out by Kings Walk and Ulland Park. I ran across a couple older abandoned houses too that I wish I had my digicam with so I coulda took some pics of for NorthWolf. Next time I will.
