My first week back at work is over, and boy was it hellacious. Some major resets occured this week in health and beauty, it looks completely different from how it was before. I'm glad it is over as I'm exhausted. Stayed late each day and finished the week off with 45 hours so I should have a damn nice paycheck. With these new hours the only advantage is having a little more of an evening to myself so I'm able to spend a little more time with family and friends during the week where before it was just work, sleep, work, sleep for 4 days. Ended up spending a few extra dinners with the family this week, which was nice. Carlos held a grillout too this past Monday that I attended. He sure knows how to grill one killer steak.

Kevin also started appearing out of the blue again. He stopped over Wendesday, Thursday, and Friday and we gamed it up a bit each day. I guess he is big into golf and I popped in Tiger Woods 2005 for the first time on my Xbox. Didn't feel all that different, actually controlled better with the controller S with the white and black buttons finally having a good feel in a game for once as they are perfect for applying spin and powering up your swings. We played a lot of NBA 2K6 also, 5 games, 4 of which I won. Each time with a different team as I'm trying to mix it up a bit with the Warriors, Timberwolves, Spurs, and Pacers. Good to hang out a bit with Kevin again as the last time I saw him was around last October and I was wondering whatever happened to him.

One thing I wanted to touch on last week was all the recent season finales that have been occuring. All my regular shows have been finishing up their seasons (save for The Shield which still has several episodes left) so I'm here to throw in my two cents about them, you guys are more than welcome to post your replies too. Joey had a good season ending, first 2/3's of the season I thought they were gonna finish it off with Alex/Joey getting together, but with Joey getting real close with that other gal I thought they were holding it off, then they have so much stuff happen in the hour long finale. So many interesting stroylines. Good to see that one crazed neighbor back after a long hiatus, but where was Glen? I thought he was still Joey's agent.

Next up was That 70's Show season finale. At first I thought it was the series finale, but the cliffhanger ending and other announcements I head lead me to understand there will be an eight season. I don't see Eric actually making it to Africa, as he'll probably miss his flight or make a last minute judgment call like how he left his lady standing at the altar. Plus, what the hell would they do with the storylines with him for a year while he is in Africa? Can't wait to see how the next season launches.

Ditto with my final viewpoint on 24. The final boss encounter was a bit far less climatic then I was hoping for and it was sad to see Jack's cover blown and having him take that other route of escaping Chinese jail and faking his death. I dunno how those producers can keep churning up these 24-hour marathongs, to big kudos for their efforts.

That does it for this entry, back later with the weekend wrapup
