Welcome to hell!!!

Yes, I know I'm a bit late with my weekend recap, but better late than never. Friday was a really fun day. I had Chris, Kevin, Corey, and Steve over and we had two tvs with two Xbox's hooked up and had a couple gaming tournaments going on. Which I have pictured above. We did two tournaments of NBA 2K5. In the first one I forget what team I used, but I beat Kevin and then Corey to win the championship. It was pandemonium as I crowned myself champion, whoooo.

We then did a Madden 2005 tournament, my first round opponent was Steve. I was the Giants and him the Titans as I kept it close and it was tied up 14 all at halftime, but then he just dominated the second half and shut me out entirely during it and beat me 50 something to 14 when it was all said and done. He then went on to beat Kevin in the finals by a bit too to be the Madden champ. Steve deserves it too, he clocks hours on end in that game. While those two duked it out in the finals, I grilled up a bunch of burgers and hot dogs for everyone. Fun times indeed.

We then finished off the night with another NBA 2K5 tournament. I was the Raptors and Corey was the Mavs in the first round, and I did what I barely accomplished before with 5 minute quarters in NBA 2K5, and that was score over 100 points with 101. Corey still was on a bigger role than me and beat me by a bit too, final score 117-101. I think he scored about 47 points with Dirk Nowitzki as he was nailing 3s with him like crazy. Meanwhile Kevin had one helluva match against Steve and he rolled out a surprising and intense overtime win with a buzzer beater in OT to beat him by just two points. He then beat Corey by a bit in the finals to be the second NBA 2K5 champion of the night. Corey took off and then Kevin and me did some Tiger Woods for a bit while Steve ripped some more music on his Xbox.

Was another great night overall I have to say. So busy in fact I spent most of Saturday resting at home. Other than grabbing lunch with the family I spent chilling at home finally getting into some serious gaming time I haven't had in awhile. I played a couple hours into Knights of the Old Republic for the first time in a while, I know got 11hours clocked into it. I then got a few missions into Xbox San Andreas and Jade Empire. Jade Empire is a damn fine game, only got about an hour and a half into it, but man are those graphics really tight, and so is the fighting engine too.



Right now am having a great time these past couple of days hanging with Rich for the first time in nearly a year and a half. Been fun, and I'll definitely have more details on it on my next entry. Tiz getting late for me and I need to get some zzzs, latez.
