-Nothing really interesting happened over the weekend except for the fact I spent about $40 on beer and only ended up getting about 8 drinks out of it all. That was Saturday when I hanged out with Rich and Jarod. Did a little gaming at Jarod's and then bowled a few rounds at Libery Lanes and shot up some pool in the bar there. I won 2 of the games, though my scores were nothing to brag about, all of us were pretty buzzing there and my highest score there out of all my games was an even 100. In the middle of all the bowling Jason Meis came by from out of nowhere. I had no idea how he knew we were there. I only hang out with that guy about once or twice a year on average, and it is always a blast whenever I see him.

-On Friday I just sat around home and did a lot of homework all night. Before that I played that new X-Men Legends 2 game with Chris for about 3 hours. That one is just as good as the first. Now besides Wolverine and Iceman, I play a lot as Colossus and Juggernaut. I also played a lot of Burnout Revenge over the weekend. I got all gold medals for all the events in level 1 of the World Tour, about halfway through level 2 now. That game is freaking crack.

-Man, the Niners just had to tease that win against me against the Cowboys. Before the game I actually thought the Cowboys were gonna beat my team by a score of something around 21-13, but I would have never imagined it being so close and high scoring as it was. You could have imagined how off guard I was about when the Niners opened with a 21-7 lead. They blew it, but man were they impressive in this and week 1. It looks like they aren't going to be all that bad afterall this season, still will prolly finish around 5-11, or 6-10 at best, but that is still a significant improvement over last season.

In other football news....

-Poor Kurt Warner. He was the main reason I was watching the Cards, tiz just a groin injury and I remember that only kept Culpepper out for 2 whole games two seasons ago, so hopefully he'll be back and airing the ball out again soon. The Cards also seemed to got about half their roster injured in that very game too. One of the games with the most injuries I've seen in a while.

-Hey Kooby, what happened to the Bear's awesome defense? And who told Orton to compete with Daunte on throwing the most picks this year?

-You think I'd feel bad for the Jets but actually I am excited. Even though Pennington is on the shelf for the rest of the year and their backup Fieldler will be out for awhile after his shoulder went kapuut after only 6 plays, that means Brooks Bollinger is confirmed to start this Sunday!!! This is awesome, I went to school with him, and got to watch a lot of his high school games. This is his third season, and he has only been in action one game last season for two drives, but hopefully he has been groomed in enough to be ready. Maybe he'll be this year's Ben Roethlisberger (I know thats stretching but it can happen!).

-I really thought the Vikes were gonna put on another marathon of laughs this weekend, but boy did they dominate the Saints. They weakened up a lot in the second half, but still managed to beat the Saints by a lot. Damn you Daunte on your extreme inconsistency!
