Well, it has been a while.....man have I been busy. I have been meaning to update this for awhile, but keep neglecting it. School and work are mostly keeping me busy. Before I forget, I got my latest review for X-Men Legends II up. Also I finished Regal's book a couple weeks ago. Pretty good read overall but he kind of skims over his WWF/E career compared to the depth he goes in about his England and WCW wrestling days. His tales from his personal demons involving his addictions to painkillers and battle through rehab was very interesting to read about.

-Ok moving on....the past two work weeks went by really quick. Found out we will be getting a new boss for our area of work at the beginning of next year. I am pretty familiar with who our new boss is and I absolutely loathe her. There will be no way I will work for her. So I gotta do something different in my job situation by the begininng of the new year.

-Last weekend went pretty well. Chris, Scott and I all played X-Men Legends II for awhile, and then lots of Halo 2. Corey later joined us for more Halo 2 fun. We did it over X-Box Live in training modes so we can bring guests and play against up to 12 players. Lots of fun was to be had.

-Got a bunch more games in to review in the mail the other day, the new Evil Dead, and some game called Dice. One of these days I will review Burnout Revenge!

-This week has been birthday week. Both Ann and my Dad turned 21 and 65, respectively. Ann went nuts when she saw I got her The Yellow Submarine for her birthday gift. Shes been wanting that forever and I just saw it at Target, but it must be a collectors item or something cuz the 1 disc DVD ended up being $25 plus tax. To make the days interesting, both their birthdays were on my days of school during the week which really messed up my schedule, but I managed somehow.

-Got a call from Software Etc. asking me to come back again for holiday help. This Monday I go in to get me all figured back into the payroll and should be starting up there again a week from now. Steve started working at the other Gamestop in town earlier this week too, and he loves it of course. I'll have to go in and bug home now :)

-I have been watching episodes of Tilt while I have been donating plasma lately, 4 outta 9 episodes and it is a lot better than I expected it to be. It further encourages me to try out poker at the bar, which I might tomorrow for a big going away party for Corey at Bucs. You might get a post a few days later from me with some interesting stories from that event.

-They just released the match listing for Bret Hart 3-disc DVD set. Lotsa classic matches on there including 4 Hart Foundation Tag Team classics against: British Bulldogs, Killer Bees, Rockers, and Nasty Boys. There are also a pair of early single matches in the mid 80s against Steamboat and Ted Dibiase. Not one, but TWO matches against Mr. Perfect I have never seen before (SS '91 IC title win (debut of the sharpshooter if I recall correctly) and '93 KotR semifinal). Two matches against Owen Hart (WM10, and some other one in 9/94). Other awesome matches on here are his WWE title win over Diesel, his bloodbath against Bulldog in 12/95 and their Summerslam '92 IC classic in England. And finally his awesome WM13 submission match against Austin and Owen tribute match against Benoit on Nitro. Other contests hes in on this DVD I haven't seen yet are his matches against Hakushi(5/95), Bam Bam Bigelow (9/1993 in Spain), and against Undertaker from One Night Only. The only awesome matchdes omitted from this set I already got on other DVDs (the 1 hour Iron Man match is on Shawn Michaels' Vault DVD, and the SS '94 Cage Match against Owen is on the Best of Cage Matches DVD). I am also highly anticipating the documentary feature, I am hoping for it to best the bar that feature in Benoit's DVD set last year.

Oh yeah, I already watched the Warrior DVD feature twice now. I sure would hate to be the Warrior right now, but the WWE didn't bash him as severely as I thought they would, and actually ended it on a semi-decent note. Good feature in the end because I knew how to take it for what it was, and it has all his (few) classic matches on it in their entirety as a nice bonus. I highly recommend it to all you One Warrior Nation members.

-Poor Niners keep on struggling. I'm glad they got rid of Rattay, now I just gotta deal with watching Alex Smith develop over these next few games. 4 picks and 2 fumbles is a nice way to be remembered for your first NFL start. At least Barlow had his first good game since last season's closer with just a yard shy of the century mark. Hopefully they won't fuck up their bye week like the Vikes did and end up with a few players being suspended.

-Rooming with Scott has been going well lately. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have gotten back into online Halo 2 again. And I'm finally starting to appreciate Madden 2005 again too as we started up a two player fantasy team franchise. And we also got quite a ways into X-Men Legends II together. Definitely good to get some good gaming in with him.

That's about it for this entry, I'll try to update this thing more often next time
