-Hello everybody. I got another review done, this one for Total Overdose , which at first seemed like another sub-par GTA-clone, but this one ended up being pretty good actually. I also did a recent article a few days ago with little write-ups for all the games available on the Xbox 360 launch you can check out here.
-Speaking of the 360, my plans didn't work out in getting one at launch. I didn't have the same plans as these guys a little ways across ND, nor would I ever go that for. I thought I had a good chance at getting one, but the wrong people were working and by the time they gave out guarentee tickets there were more people in line than amount of units we had at the store. I checked out a few other stores later in the day, but every place was sold out. I got the truck unloaders keeping a watch for me so hopefully I'll have mine when we get our next shipment within a week or two. I did manage to go and get my launch games at Software Etc, so for now I am having fun studying the game manuals of Perfect Dark Zero and Amped 3 in great detail.
-Chris and I recorded another audio show for VGpub hyping up the 360. I was hoping for it to go up in time for launch, but Chris didn't get around to finishing editing it yet. As soon as it is up, I'll post the link here.
-The 49ers lost by 2 points to the best team in the NFC, that as close as a win to me. Huzzah!
-It was Joe's birthday on Saturday. Went pretty well, had some supper at Wild Wings and later Chris joined us and we watched Stealth. Got Joe MotoGP3 for Xbox and Dead for Breakfast on DVD for his bday. He got lots of other good stuff too. I keep gettin myself too many bday gifts too like some wrestling DVDs like Forever Hardcore, Jake the Snake set, and the Bret Hart DVD set. I watched the Bret and Jake sets Saturday morning as a matter of fact, and they both have damn good features. Right up with there with the also-excellent features found in Rise and Fall of ECW and Chris Benoit Story DVDs. Jake's expectedly had more intense personal stuff as the first 15 minutes or so where he talks about growing up had some really bad situations he described. Bret did as well, but they were the more publicly known issues like Montreal Screwjob and Owen. Haven't got a chance to relive any of the classic matches on each set yet, but I recall most of them and cannot wait to get a chance to throw them in my DVD player. I highly recommend tracking down both sets.
-That's about all I got for this entry, hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and hopefully by this next entry I'll have a 360 safely secured at home.
