-Hey Yo! I swear yet again it seems like no longer than a day or two since my last entry when it has actually been near a whole week. Ouch.
-School has been going decent. I got a damn near perfect A on my third essay of the semester for Comp. That felt pretty good. But I am dreadfully close to failing my Algebra class, I don't care if I get the lowest C as long as I pass. Drawing is drawing, I think all my stuff sucks but my teacher loves it and is encouraging me to take future art classes.
-Last weekend went pretty good. I had a decent amount of overtime on my check and treated myself to a few DVDs. I got the new special edition of Office Space, the 2-disc Jake Roberts set, and Star Wait (documentary on a group of people who waited 6 weeks in line to see episode 2). Wait was $5 and I don't own any of the Star Wars DVDs and figure this should fill in the void fine :D Couple more I want too now. That new Beavis and Butthead collection looks pretty sweet. And of course The Devils Rejects, that film freaking rocked. It only came out in theatres just three months ago, what a fast release to DVD. And I gotta have the Bret Hart set coming out next week two.
On Friday I went to my niece's birthday party at McDonald's. I was completely off my sleep schedule and only had about 2 hours of sleep in me so I was like a zombie throughout all of it. I still managed to make some fun out of it. Chris came over on Saturday and him, Scott, and I watched Star Wait, followed by Episode 3 because Scott hadn't seen it up until then. Good movie marathon indeed.
-My game time is coming along pretty good. I just got a review posted a couple days ago for SOCOM 3, so check that out if you have time. Oh yeah Steve, I just finished your review of FFX-2, damn good stuff even though it took me about 15 minutes to read through it all. On my trip to MN a couple weeks ago I made the most playing time out of my PSP since May. All I played was Burnout Legends that Chris lended to me. That one is pretty damn addicting and plays almost identically to Burnout 3. It'll probably get it soon, and it'll be the first PSP title I bought since Lumines on launch. GTA: Liberty City Stories also looks good for obvious reasons so maybe by the end of the year I'll double my PSP games to an amazing 4! I got four more races completed in the final endurance league in Demolition Racer on DC, the racing game I've been trying to complete for over 4 years. Every few months I'll throw it in and spend hours just trying to place first in points for a race or two. It is one of my all-time favorite racing games and I highly suggest you guys track it down.
I still have been playing lots of co-op Sniper Elite with Scott over the weekend. SOCOM 3 is good, but Sniper Elite's gameplay is just so fresh, different, and fun that it is the best military shooter I have played in quite some time. Also have been playing a lot of Halo 2 online still. Scott has got me back into that. I'm eagerly anticipating PD0 for the 360, my plasma account should be at $500 by launch and I got my 360 safely secured for me on launch. I reserved an extra controller, Madden, and Perfect Dark. Was gonna get Oblivion, but it got delayed till February or so. Another game I have been hearing great stuff about that look's great too from what I saw of it at E3 is Guitar Heroes. Just think DDR with a guitar, and there ya go. I might go out and try to hunt it down this weekend.
-I dunno if any of you are into video game remixes, but I got a website that has a good sized library of them at ocremix.org. They host a podcast I listen to as well that shows off samples of songs and such and it got me back into the game remix craze. Tiz worth checking out I say.
