-On Sunday Target finally got some more 360s. They got four of them, all premium bundles. Almost didn't get one as I couldn't get one before store opened as usual since it was a Sunday with state law and all. Asked the boss if I could have came back at 11:55 inside to get one to avoid the usual customers that flood into the store on Sunday's but she said no so I stood out there at 11:30 while it was snowing too to make sure I'd get one. What really peeved me is right when I was walking in I saw two employees walking with them away from customers view right when the store opened. I prolly woulda went off on someone if I didn't get one but thankfully I did. I was finally able to give Perfect Dark 0 some playing time. Graphics are freaking awesome, I can tell I need a HDtv for some of the stuff to look perfect though, but tiz what my current plasma fund is saving up for.
-I am done with 2 of my 3 classes. I got an A in drawing simply cuz I turned in everything. A lot of it I think isn't all that great, but I got an A so huzzah. I think I will get either a low A or high B in Comp, I remember getting As on all my major essays except my first one I got a high C so I'll wait and see. Algebra all comes down to the final tomorrow. I'm sitting at about a 65% right now, and need a solid B on the final to finish with a C. I plan on studying like mad tonight so hopefully things will go my way. If not, I will say fuck Math forever. I tried selling all my books back to the school, and I couldn't sell any of my art books back because they're not using them next semester and they wouldn't take my Algebra book because it is a teachers edition. So I have to sell those online. Only one they took surprisingly was my Comp book that was in crummy shape cause I left it out in the rain one day. Odd indeed.
-I have bought way too many games this past month. Mostly because I took advantage of Gamestop's 25% off and but 2 get 1 free used game sale...but still I overdid it big time. Besides getting Amped 3 and PD0 on 360 launch, I also picked up Virtua Tennis and GTA on PSP at Target's day after Thanksgiving sale, and then World of Warcraft at Best Buy's same sale. When Gamestop's sale started I picked up Smackdown vs RAW2006 new, the new Mario Tennis on GBA, Capcom Classics on Xbox, and the new Blitz on Xbox. When the used sale started I picked up Speed Kings and Project Snowblind on Xbox, and BurnOut on PSP. Yeah, I did go overboard.
- This guy is a freak. He runs one of those indy gamer shows, I only saw first four episodes. It's about this one guy who has a mega-annoying norweigan accent, but it is so annoyingly stupid it compelled me to watch more. I thought the first one was lame, but each one gradually grew more funny any better. It starts off with him being the 'Pro-Gamer' at C&C: Zero Hour, but then going to his 'Master' and gaining access to play Half-Life 2 and later World of Warcraft. The Doug guy in episode 3 is also freaking hilarious. 'Boom-Headshot' is all I gotta say about him. They are worth checking out if you find some free time. You just gotta love this pathetic loser.
-49ers continue to suck, but as long as Alex Smith develops I will be happy. Please don't be a bust Alex....please!!! At least the Vikes managed to a decent turnaround, I never woulda thought they could have gone from 2-5 to 8-5.
-Some of you may have seen this, but this is the weirdest World of Warcraft vid I have seen. I couldn't but laugh every time I have seen it. Leeeroyyyyyy!!. Then after that video IMMEDIATELY check out this site.
-Finally, I have been going crazy doing reviews this past week. 5 of them, that is the most I have done in one week's time in quite a while. Here's some links for ya for the very few who care: Burnout Revenge (Xbox), The Con (PSP), Rocky Legends (Xbox), and Untold Legends (PSP). Enjoy!
