-Huzzah, I am finally done. I just got done working 9 days straight. It was suppose to be 10 actually but my boss decided to give me tonight off since I worked last Saturday overnight, where most of those hours carried over into this work week, so huzzah for a 3 day weekend for me :D
-What the hell is going on with the WWE? Cena and Batista both win their brands respective titles on WM21, then they both lose within a couple of days of each other. Nuts I tells ya. Smackdown is getting way too many good wrestlers injured. First Ken Kennedy, then Kid Kash and now the Beast. Speaking of the WWE I'm finally slowly making progress through some older ones I haven't watched too much of since getting them way back when. I finally finished all of the Greatest Stars of the 80s DVD set a few weeks back. The retrospectives are good considering their length, but I still feel their missing many details. The extra matches are hit and miss too. Pretty ok set overall, but I do not plan on watching it again so I'll prolly trade it in one of these days. I also finished the Greatest Cage Matches DVD. Damn good documentary, and the extra match listing is phenomenal which includes a rare Jannetty/HBK cage match from '93 I never saw before that turned out pretty good (it even has a pre-Raven doing commentary to boot). For anybody who loved cage matches, that one is a must buy. Next up I plan on finishing all the extra matches on the Jake Roberts DVD.
-Gaming-wise lately I have been playing mostly a lot of Perfect Dark Zero. Right now I am freaking loving that game. Dare I say better than Halo 2? From what I gathered around from other sources, it sounds like if you liked the original PD, you'll definitely enjoy PD0, but if you didn't, then you'll loathe it forever. Other than that I have also been playing the random bits of Indigo Prophecy, slowly progressing through that deeply engrossing and purely awesome game. I got several new reviews done too this past month or so for Zathura (PS2) , NBA 06 (PS2) and Pac-Man World 3 (PSP) .
-I picked up some new DVDs too recently. I got the "super-great" 2-disc collection of shows from Mega64 . If you are unfamiliar with it, these two 'test subjects' get stuck in a time machine and get 'transported' into the world of old videogames, when in actuality they are just dressing up as old game characters and re-enacting certain games in real life ala Tom Greene. One example that instantly comes to mine is the Metal Gear skit that has Snake-wannabe sneaking his way through a store to find a codec. Hilarity ensues. They got some free episodes to view right off their site. I also picked up Lost Season 1. I haven't seen any of the episodes, but heard nothing but greatness of it so figure one of these weekends I'll waste by just watching this season in a big 'ol marathon.
-Speaking of tv shows (god bless segways) the new season of 24 is about to start. Who else loves this show? I cannot wait for the allmight Jack Bauer to breaking necks and cashing checks yet again. I just hope he doesn't get his ass whipped by a Christmas Tree this time. The Shield also starts soon too. I really hope this isn't the last season as how I heard some rumors it might be.
-School semester started back up again this week. I like my new lighter schedule. Instead of class twice a week, I am now three times a week. But now just 1 hour and 40 minutes of classes instead of 4 straight hours so it is a lot more manageable. I think I am going to enjoy my Ethics and Speech class a bit judging by my first two classes this week.
-That is about all I got for now, I need to find more stuff to say.......no worries the Groolies will come soon!
