-Yeah, Yeah, I know it has been a while since my last update. I have no regrets :D I have been spending most of the time playing a pair of 360 games I have for review. I just finished the first one a few days ago for Dead or Alive 4. I should have one for PGR3 within a week or so. Feedback is always appreciated.
-School has been taking up a little bit of time too. Thankfully not as much as before. I haven't really had any actual written work out of class assignments yet. Just reading....lots of reading. I got a feeling a huge un-announced quiz is on the horizon in my Ethics class.
-Speaking of school, I try to find time inbetween and after classes to say hi to Chris and see if he wants to catch lunch or something but he never wants to go anymore. Same when I hang out with him too, he never seems to wanna catch a flick or anything anymore. I think he must be running low on money and bills must be killing him or something. That sucks, I feel bad for him, I hope things will work out for him.
-I still am listening to a lot of podcasts still, but recently have run into a problem, and I think it is for trying to get new video podcasts to work that won't load up on my PSP or PC. The two shows I am trying to get work or both in M4V (or MV4, one of the two) format and both will not load up in Windows Media Player. Is there a special player or codec I got to download and install? If so can any of you guys hook me up with the appropriate link. Thankee in advance.
-I am getting some more tv shows on DVD recently due to some sales I caught at work. I haven't seen a single episode of it, but I heard the o-mega buzz going around that it is insanely good, and since it was on sale I picked up the first season of Lost. I also got Season 5 of Seinfeld (since I got s6 for Xmas and s5 is only set I do not have and I want to watch all the episodes in order), and with a good sale going on and a bonus gift card I got for getting The Devil's Rejects (2005 Groolie award winner for Best Action film) I only ended up paying about $23 for the whole season set. I also see another good sale going on the Mike Judge collection of Beavis and Butthead that I can also pick up for around $23....I am debating or not if it is worth it for that price. The extras look killer and the collection should put the current 3-disc Time set I got to shame.
-Last weekend went by pretty well. I sold a lot of games which nearly resulted in paying off my reserve for Oblivion for Xbox 360. I had a lot of people over last Saturday (Chris, Joe, Scott, and Brent) and we all did some mad gaming mostly on the Xbox 360. It was mostly DOA4, Perfect Dark Zero (which surprisingly ran well in 4 player split screen and 12 bots), and a little bit of Halo 2. On Friday before I hung out with Rich for the first time in over three months just for a couple hours and checked out his new homestead in town. Justin was there too and I relived some of the good old gaming battles we had with him beating me a couple of times Smackdown vs Raw 2006 and me coming away with a last second victory in ESPN NBA 2K5. Also did some cosmic bowling later that night with Jarod, Jason Mize and a couple other friends of his. It wasn't really all that fun because I was the DD and everyone else was drinking their arse's off.
-What games are you guys looking forward to in 2006? I am anticipating Black (slick FPS from creators of Burnout), Bad Day LA (you get to play as a hobo, 'nuff said), Oblivion (should be omega-awesome) and Tetris DS, even though I don't have a DS I am sure Chris will be kind enough to borrow me his. Because Nintendo made Tetris games rule (i.e. Tetrisphere, GB Tetris, Tetris DX, and New Tetris).
-Tiz all I got on my mind for now....latez
