-Sunday night my Grandpa died. He was 92. He has been dying for the past couple years, and it became readily apparent the past couple months his time was soon. I wasn't that close with him as my Grandma, heck I think I only saw him twice this past decade with the last time being over a little over a year ago. It was nice to see him again though that time, and I will miss him greatly.
-On a lighter note I finally beat Indigo Prophechy on Valentine's Day of all things. Up until last weekend I was only playing a couple scenes a month, then I finally had a good deal of free time last weekend and got into it a lot. Played it nonstop until I beat it. It is one helluva game, the story got a bit too Matrix-y for my likes towards the end, but it still enticed me to play regardless. Indigo reminded why I loved adventure games in the first place over anything else. Now I got to get into Syberia one and two next.
-Last weekend went by really well. It was one of the few weekends where I got to do things at my own pace. I usually try to adjust my schedule to everybody elses and I end up feeling like a wreck by the end of the weekend. This time I went to bed when I wanted, and had a couple of stellar periods of hard sleep. I spent most of the weekend watching tv and playing Indigo. Only real event I did was when Joe and I joined Chris and went to Kyle's and we all played Perfect Dark Zero nonstop for several hours. I finally got my 1000 team killcount kills achievement huzzah.
-24 has been its usual goodness this season. Except I hate Logan's wife character. Jack Bauer still kicks ass though, and the show manages to keep me on my toes for each hour. I am having bad doubts about The Shield however this season. I absolutely hate the new Kavanaugh character, why do they gotta keep bringing up Terry's death when they run outta material. Oh yeah, I found out NBA put Joey on hiatus, what the hell is up with that? I knew it wasn't as good as Friends but I was really enjoying it during its season and a half run. And now they replaced it with Four Kings, a sitcom so dry and uses so many crummy sitcom cliches it pains me to watch it. RAW is still good, except Edge should still be champ and half the time I forget Flair is IC champ. Smackdown is still kind of blah, but Angle is now there to give it a little bit of a boost, and it seems they are putting an ever so slight more focus on the cruiser division with Helms and Kash as their latest champs so who knows.
-I have no idea how I got an A on my Ethics essay, but I am pretty damn ecstatic over it because it is 25% of my grade. I also got a solid B on my first speech so I am pretty pumped with how this semester of college is going so far.
