-Yello all. Been a bit long again since my last update, time sure does fly when I'm doing nothing. I finished my last class 8 days ago at the Tech. Huzzah for me. Now time to kick back and enjoy the summer.
-Got episode 6 of The Pubcast posted last weekend. Yes we skipped posting 5 because 6 was our E3 wrap-up show and we felt it'd be prolly the smarter decision to post it more recent after the show was done. Unfortunately I felt it was our worst show quality-wise because our special guest (my own bro, Joe) acted like an idiot throughout the whole damn thing. I swear episode 5 is our best show though because we got a better guest and we have a 3 person roundtable on the Advent Children DVD which I felt resulted in our best discussion in any other episode of The Pubcast yet. But if you still want to hear the sucktacular sixth episode of The Pubcast, here is the link:

-Last weekend was another killer three day extended weekend. Started it off by doing another movie marathon at Matt's. We watched Daredevil and Grandma's Boy. I also brought over my Robin Williams Live on Broadway DVD. Grandma's Boy I surprisingly enjoyed (even though I know good ol Mr Kubryk loathed it). Though my opinion is obviously jaded because it deals with being a video game tester. Daredevil was ok, it went by surprisingly fast, and some parts of it seemed very anticlimatic like (spoiler) Elektra's death and all. Oh yeah, um why in the hell is The Kingpin black in the movie? But their version of Bullseye was awesome, and some of the fights were cool too, so I'd have to say overall pretty decent as far as comic book flicks go. In the end, I'll give Grandma's Boy a 8/10 and Daredevil a 6/10. I also saw Fantastic Four yesterday, which was a little bit better than Daredevil, especially with being cheesy in all the right ways, and the final brawl with Dr. Doom was pretty cool too. I'll go a 7/10 on F4. Tomorrow is gonna be fun as I do a movie marathon at the theatre! On Saturday I saw Thank You for Smoking at our local theatre. This one was hilarious, I had high hopes, and this one delivered. Lots of good lines, and an awesome daring story throughout, which result in a 9/10 from me.
Saturday was a decent day from me. Had Joe and Chris over to record the aforementioned episode of The Pubcast. Sunday was Mother's Day and I unexpectedly spent the whole day over there. Guess I just spent a whole helluva lot longer than I wanted to over there that day. Sat down and watched a movie with the family and we later on went to Applebee's and had a grand old time. Overall, in the end it ended up being a fairly good weekend.
-Gaming wise I have been playing a lot of DOA4 online. Mostly with Rich, and a little bith with over people I know off Live. I finally got my 100 online wins achievement. I actually saw Chris online and I messaged him saying "hey I need just 4 wins to get my 100 wins achievement, wanna help me real quick" and then right after that I realized I didn't have my 10 straight online wins achievement, so he help me get that, and then the 20 straight online wins achievement and in the process of that I got the online Grade B achievement. So huzzah for me. I also downloaded Uno off the Xbox Live arcade and have been playing that a lot online against Chris and John. I forgot how much fun Uno was, before XBLA it was prolly a good dozen years or so since I played it. Other than those two games though, lately I have been playing a lot of Dreamfall. I am about oh, a lil over halfway thru the game now at about 15 hours in, though I'm prolly taking twice as long to beat it as I explore the most out of each area I can and make sure to talk to everyone. That is how I get the most out of my games.
-RAW has been getting really good lately. The Spirit Squad is a big breath of fresh air into the programming the past few months. Also with Joey Styles and Mick Foley giving damn good promos the past few weeks with them hyping the return of ECW has also kept me on my heels. Hell, even seeing Umaga out there kicking ass is cool after I saw that underground clip of him chopping the holy hell out of that Spirit Squad guy, that and he enhanced his finisher. HHH is getting back to his 2000-2001 awesomeness, Cena is actually starting to seem like a fan favorite again. So yeah, RAW riz great. Smackdown is kinda not with most their dudes being injured/suspended/whatever. It's still watchable, I just found myself fast forwarding a lot of the segments. Their two keys to be successful again: don't make the Pirate a jobber and bring back the Miz and Palmer Cannon. On the TNA side of things, I like both of those Nash skits they had with him trashing the X Division. It was also cool to see Joe getting a good rub by pinning Jarrett at their latest PPV. I think I may actually buy the PPV DVD just for that.
