-Hey Yo. It's been pretty quiet this past week, not a whole lot has been going on. Last Thursday night was the official inventory day of the year at work, and as I mentioned many times before, the most boring day. We had the option of leaving an hour and a half early cause there was nothing left to do, but I managed to help some other people out for about an hour before going home. So out of the 8 hours I was there, there was an hour of breaks, and about another 2 hours where we did absolutely nothing. Steve and I killed the last couple hours playing the movie name game, and to my surprise that actually made the last part of the shift go by pretty quick. A couple years ago we did the same thing with the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon name game. I found both of those name games also help make car trips go by pretty quick.

-Weekend went by allright. On Friday I took it easy for the most part. Instead of hanging with my friends like I usually do, I went bowling with my dad. I lost both games against him, and especially blew it in the second game where I fell to the pressure. I was bowling last and only had to get 5 pins to win, and my overconfidence got to me and I bowled two straight gutter balls.....hoo-rah! I got back home and gamed it up for the most part, trying out a lot of the new Perfect Dark Zero maps that just came out, and a few other games.

On Saturday I did a gaming marathon with Chris, Joe, Jake, and Scott (all but Chris are pictured above). We actually dusted off the N64 and played it for the first time in years. We did some rounds of Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64, and WWF No Mercy. It brought back a lot of great memories for me. Later on we moved on to 360 and played a good amount of Perfect Dark Zero, Top Spin 2, DOA4, and Call of Duty 2. I was surprised at how well I enjoyed Call of Duty 2 multiplayer. When that game goes down to $40 I'll prolly get it. After they all left I played a lot of 360, and actually got a stellar amount of achievement points racked up over the weekend, about half a grand when it was all said and done. John helped me get about 300 points worth of online achievements in Table Tennis and I returned the favor for him. I also later earned 90 in Feeding Frenzy, 50 in Perfect Dark Zero, and another 50 in Oblivion.

-On Monday I picked up my DS Lite. I feel real good about holding out for this superior update. It's about a third less of the size of the old DS, a much sleeker design, and has a brighter screen. So far I mostly only played Mario Tennis for the GBA, and a little bit of Trace Memory. That, and Meteos are my only DS games thusfar. I plan on picking up Tetris and Mario Kart soon. If anyone else has any recommendations, please post them below.

-9th episode of the Pubcast is available for download. In that episode we discuss PSPorn, 360 backwards compatibility, have a review for Soul Calibur 3, DVD roundtable review for Strangerhood season one, and close things off with our Top 3 surprisingly good games of all time. Click here to access the archive.

-While I'm shilling, I know it has been a while since I posted links to my latest reviews. I have been neglecting it lately, so here are links to my three latest reviews, any feedback is welcome: Feeding Frenzy(360), Metal Saga(PS2), and Dreamfall(Xbox).

-That's all I got for ya today. Latez
