-Before i get on with the rest of my update, I will update everyone on the newest happenings on my 360 situation that happened over the past week: I called Microsoft last Friday wondering for an update on where my 360 is. They said according to UPS it was delivered to my address the day before on Thursday. They give me the tracking number and I am looking over it too and I say I was at my apartment that whole day by my door and didn't hear a single knock, nor was there one of those UPS sticky notes they leave behind saying if they stopped by, left the package with a neighbor, etc. I also didn't recognize the name that signed for the package. Microsoft said to check with UPS and see what's going on.

So over the weekend I got ahold of 5 of my 7 neighbors in my apartment building, all of whom denied getting the package. I also checked my rental office to see if the package somehow made its way there, but no luck. I also had them run a search on the name that signed for the package, and of course there was no luck in that route either. I called Microsoft this past Monday to let them know the update on my progress....err more lack of progress anyways. After being on hold for a little bit while customer service checked with their superiors, they told me they are going to review the situation and call me back within a day or two with a resolution. Hopefully I'll get a call from them later today.

Surprisingly I am not too ticked off at the situation, I am being patient and have been catching up on a lot of Xbox, PS2 and GCN games the past 4 weeks now. I actually picked up and played a good amount of San Andreas this past week for the first time since I got the game over a year ago on Xbox. I finally popped in PN03 for the GCN for the first time after owning the game since March. I also have been playing more of the awesome derby racer, FlatOut 2. So I am making the best out of a worst situation.

-Besides catching up on a lot of gaming I have been catching up on a lot of DVDs I got a while back but have yet to view over the past month or two. I have been watching a lot of the Ring of Honor stuff. Just this past month I watched Death Before DisHonor 2 part 2 (which I thought was ok until the awesome main event hardcore tag match made the show a definite thumbs up) and Manhatten Mayhem (really good show, but I dont think anything stood out memorable other than Joe winning the Pure title). I have also slowly been making my way through the Seinfeld Season 5 DVD set again. I am now on disc three and keep on getting impressed how the show continues to improve season after season at this point (I still gotta crack into season 6 which has been sitting on my shelf for awhile now). I also am slowly progressing through the FireFly DVD set. I have watched the first four episodes of the set, and that is all for now, but I really am liking what I have seen thus far. It is one of the few shows I can say where I don't hate a single character on and very much enjoy the unique characteristics of all of them. And even tho it is a sci-fi show at heart, it sure as hell doesn't feel like one.

-I finally finished Palahniuk's novel Haunted yesterday. Pretty good read overall. It took me a bit to get into the main story, but I really liked all the short stories that followed inbetween each chapter of the main plot. By the last several chapters I was really getting into it though. I'd probably rate it a 7.5/10, though I got a good feeling my rating would change on a re-reading most likely because of how lost I was at the beginning with all the weird nicknames Palahuik uses for the 20 or so main characters. I have now started Tucker Max's "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" on break at work last night. The book is a compilation of Max's Internet entries of his wildest and most memorable party stories. I only read one and a half entries and I already am very much liking what I am reading so far as I am a sucker for beer drinking stories.

-Last weekend was pretty decent. On Friday I met up and did the usual hanging out with Chris and Scott. Chris never saw V for Vendetta yet and we watched that. I didn't seem to enjoy it as much as my initial viewing, and am now glad I didn't buy the DVD like I was originally thinking. Then we played some X-Men Legends 2 for the first time in a while, and it was mighty fun I have to admit though I do enjoy the Champions and Dark Alliance dungeon crawls a little bit more. We also rocked out in Guitar Hero for a while too and I made sure to get myself on top of a lot of the high score charts....on easy mode of course since I am no pro at that game like Moe of teamfremont.com (that guy is freaking legendary at that game!). Saturday I just took it easy and gamed it up a bit and decided to pop in Office Space since its been a couple years since I watched it, and even though it was probably around the 10th time I watched that movie, it still is just as funny as the first time I watched it and it will still rank in my Top 5 movies of all time because of that.

Tiz all I got for now, latez!
