-Hey yo. Right about now, I'm inbetween my first and second classes on my first day of my fourth semester of class. Hoo-rah for general overview days with little to no homework. I am kind of regretting doing just two classes now this semester, I probably could have handled three while working full time (prolly would have very little free time however). Oh well.
-This weekend I get to go out of town to Bismark to help set up a new Super Target. Wasn't too into it, but Target pays for hotel and travel, and it is about a guarenteed 10-12 hours of overtime. Combine that with the 3 hours of OT I got last week, it will be a very nice paycheck.
-All that OT can help pay for a new Xbox 360, as I got a feeling I am getting screwed by Microsoft. The last two neighbors I mentioned in my last entry I both talked to recently, and both are also claiming ignorance. Booooo. Last Thursday I talked to their customer support for about the 5th in under two weeks. They reassured me I'll get a call saying they'll ship me a new 360 once there claims department figures out my 360 really did get lost through UPS. Though now its getting close to three weeks since reporting my claim, and over a month without my Xbox 360. Grrrr
-Last weekend went by pretty well. On Friday I hung out with mostly Chris and Scott. I picked up Monopoly Party for Xbox, which works very well, we finished a whole game of Monopoly between the three of us in 50 minutes, prolly woulda been less if it wouldn't have been for getting use to the trade menus. I then forced them to watch the McMahon DVD documentary. Scott is a casual wrestling, Chris usually doesn't watch it at all. But I just got it in the mail earlier that day, and was determined to watch it.
Overall I liked the DVD a lot, minus some very skewed statements from the McMahon brownnosers (Brisco: Vince doesn't like yes men). I also wished it wouldn't have brushed over a lot of Vince's earlier years in the business. The first 10 minutes or so are focused on his announcer duties from the 70s and early 80s, and then it pretty much jumps right into the whole Montreal scandal in 1997 and gives a pretty in depth look of the "Mr McMahon" character and some other behind the scenes happenings (WCW buyout, XFL) from then on to this year. I was ticked there was very little to no coverage of the whole steroid accusations against Vince in the mid-90s and would have liked to seen his response to the issue. But overall, another solid WWE production, and the 8 extra matches included are a very nice bonus too.
Saturday I did a bit of errand running, and spent most the night hanging out with Scott and the Joester. Played a bit of Risk on PS2 with Joe and Scott winning a round a piece. Then played a round of Monopoly, and since we now knew the full control interface, it only took us 20 minutes to complete a full round with Scott emerging victorious. After that I went back home and pretty much kicked back enjoying my final weekend of the summer.
-I continue to enjoy the Who Wants to be a Superhero reality show each week. This Thursday is the season finale. I thought last week's elimination of Major Victory was total bullshit, as he competed very well in that episode's events while Fat Momma did the opposite, Stan just said he didn't like his character that much as his reason for elimination. Now Feedback better win the competition or else there's gonna be hell to pay cause you can tell that guy is into it the most.
-For the few who care, here is a link to my review that just went up for FlatOut 2.
-Tiz all I got for this update. Latez!
