-Hey Yo! Man am I exhausted right now, for some reason it just seems a bit harder this year to manage school and work at the same time. I am managing to keep up the homework load, but I am getting tired almost all the time. Guess I'll keep fighting the good fight and countdown the days till the end of the semester.

-Still no Xbox 360, or any news of it coming my way anytime soon. I'm tired of talking about this so that is all on that never-ending story for now.

-My Rio Carbon decided to break on me last Friday morning. It was pretty much my fault. I was backstocking and as I took the MP3 player out of my pocket to change tracks, it slipped and fell only 2 feet to the ground. It ended up jamming the exposed scroll wheel on the upper corner of the unit, and within an hour it must of caused the unit to malfunction as it stopped working. All my efforts to fix it proved useless. It I only would have got a better case for it the player would have been fine, note to self: never be content with crummy pouches that come bundled with MP3 players. So the next day on Saturday I went out and got 8gb Creative Zen MicroPhoto. I also immediately got a good case for it too. I like it a lot more than my old Carbon, only downside is it didn't come bundled with a AC Wall adaptor (only USB is included for charging).

-I am blazing through the season 2 DVD set of Lost. I only have 2 episodes left all together now. Partial Spoiler alert: Kinda mixed feeling on it, the show is raising a lot more mysteries and questions while barely resolving and hardly answering others. Why, Michael, Why! How many damn hatches are there on that island? I got my VCR set to tape the season premier tomorrow, but it'll prolly be several days before I watch it.

-My dad has been a somewhat avid Twins baseball fan. He's really happy they're in the playoffs, he called me up on Sunday saying "we're going for supper to celebrate Twins in the playoffs" to which I replied "Im in Fargo right now." They lost their game one opener against the As in the playoffs. Hopefully, they'll bounce back. On the topic of sports, I am mightily disappointed in the 49ers performance against the "Chefs" last Sunday. What a horrible game. C'mon Niners how can you do that bad? This was shades of the horrendous Ericson years, please no more!

-Last weekend was pretty fun overall. It was a rare 3 day weekend for me as I took off Sunday night to go to a concert in Fargo. Friday I got together with Joe, Chris, another Joe (one of my bro's newer friends), Scott, Jake, & Charles for a bix Xbox/Xbox 360 Lan Party. We primarily played Halo 2, Perfect Dark Zero, & Deathrow. That whole night was kind of a mess actually. Everyone wanted to play different games so we had a lot of cases where people intentionally sat ouz of the game that was being played. I hate seeing people being pouty all the time, I tried to get everyone's favorite match types going, but there always seemed to be at least one or two people that just had to sit out. Other than those little nuisances, it was another fun night of gaming.

Saturday went a bit better. Hung out with Rich and Justin and Kevin for the first time since I played basketball with them a month and a half ago. We were celebrating Justin's birthday and played a bit of pNa, and it brought back lots of good (and bad) drinking memories with Rich. I hung out with Rich & Justin a couple hours Sunday morning to as I met up with them to watch the Vikings/Bills game. Had a mighty good time, but I had to take off a lil early in the 4th quarter so we could leave for Fargo to catch the concert in time. It was show that featured 3 metal bands: Brand New Sin, Soil, & Mushroomhead.

I went mostly for Soil as I only knew a little bit about the other two bands. Brand New Sin was ok, just couldn't get into them since the place was still filling up. I didn't know Soil got a new singer until they got on stage, but he sounds a lot like their last singer, so fine by me. They put on a good set and finished with Halo. I went kinda crazy in a mosh pit too during that song for awhile too, good times. Mushroomhead rocked the place big time. Almost all the band member jumped into the pit and we bodysurfed them for awhile. I didn't know a lot of their songs so I just immersed myself into the experience. After the show I noticed a big red stain on back of my shirt, thought it was blood then realized it was just the facepaint from bodysurfing the lead singer. Damn good time overall, easily got my $20 worth, and then some.

-Tiz all I got for now, latez!
