-Hey Yo! Guess I went a bit of a gap between my last update. Don't blame me please, I blame the fact that I'm still not use to this crazy holiday scheduling at work. I hate working through weekends. I get calls from buddies who're use to me having the weekend off that go something like this

"Hey wanna hang out"
"I work tonight"
"Waddya mean, it's the weekend"
"What DO YOU mean, it's not the weekend until my days off, you know that"
"Dude it's Saturday"
"(looks at calendar).......DAMN!"

-Finals are coming up next week for the semester. I'm doing really good in both of my classes right now. I got a 94 on my history exam, and I got a very high A in that class. I also got a perfect score for my second of two major papers in my Sociology class which bumped up my grade to an overall high B. Yay!

-I made a guest appearence on the latest episode of Team Fremont Live. They asked me to send in an audio review of Tony Hawk's Project 8 after they saw my thoughts of it on their forum. For those who are curious, they are the main forum I post on now if you wonder why I only average posting about 10 posts a year on the GameFAQs boards lately. They got a very nice community that is by far the atmosphere I prefer now. Anyways if you want to listen to the show, which is by far my favorite gaming podcast available right now, right click and save. While I'm shilling, I should point you in the direction of my text review for THP8. Enjoy!

-The Niners are doing pathetic right now. They rewarded their awesome three game winning streak with a three game losing streak. At least we're doing better than those pesky Lions right now....please don't kill me Shady, at least you'll get the no.1 draft pick next year

-Gamestop does employee appreciation this time of the year which gives the benefit of an extra 10% off what employeees usually get. So that means 25% off new games and accessories, and 35% off all used if you have the edge card. So I decided to splurge a little bit. I picked up 24 on PS2, Rainbow Six Vegas on 360, a points card for Xbox Live, Capcom Classics 2 for Xbox, and a Wii Classic Controller. Suffice to say, I'll have plenty of stuff to play for awhile

-Last weekend....errr set of days off I mean (Tuesday, Wendesday) went by ok. On Tuesday I had to work at Gamestop from 7:30-10:30, and during that time there was only 2 customers. So for almost the first hour of the shift, the assisstant manager and I watched Shaolin Soccer to kill time. After work, Chris and Scott came over to hang out. We played a bunch of games, including System Link play of Rainbow Six Vegas. I brought out my HDTV to set up the 360 for Scott for System Link play. After he left I decided to play some of my own 360 stuff on the HDTV and I was blown away by how crisp and clean everything was compared to Standard Definition. Actually, the main difference was the letters on 360 games looked a lot more ledgible and less blurry, really that was the main difference. Other than that, everything looked more cleaner overall and had those extra layers of shiny polish, so yeah there is a definite difference. I've seen HD movies before and those don't impress me too much so I'll hold off on the 360 HD-DVD addon for now. But it definitely was worth it for the upgraded gameplay.

-Other than that everything has been on cruise lately, I feel odd that I haven't been in that holiday spirit lately like I'm usually in this time of the year. Just doesn't feel Christmas-y to me for some reason....oh well. In other random bits it's been forever since I hit up the theatre, last flick I saw there was The Departed. Borat is still playing so I think I'll try and see that tomorrow. I wanted to shed some thoughts on my view of the wrestling scene lately, but I think I'll save that for my next update. Latez!
