-Hey yo! Tiz spring break this week so now class, huzzah! So what have I been doing besides working this week? Pretty much just catching up on tv and video games. Speaking of which, I have completed my third game this year last weekend (more on that in a bit), which puts me back on track for beating at least one game a month. I rule!!!
-A week ago I went and saw another metal concert with Steve. It was at Playmakers again in Fargo. Four bands were playing, the show actually started 15 minutes early to my surprise (almost to all concerts I have been to they start up 15 minutes late) and I got there a half hour late and by that point the first band was done with their set. Old school metal band Machine Head came out next and they put on a very good showing, next was Trivium. Steve didn't like them but I dug their songs. Lamb of God was last, and man was the place wild for them. I have never seen such rowdier mosh pits out of all the concerts I have been to. I avoided the pits for the most part, but Steve made sure to tear them up. All in all it was a damn good show and is most likely the last concert/arena event I'll catch with him since he is moving in May.
-The weekend was kind of odd all things considered. I was suppose to go in for a half shift at work, but my boss called me during the day and said I could just fill in a vacation form for a few hours to fill up my 40 if I wanted to. Since I had a lot of vacation hours to spare, I took him up on the offer as I hate one day weekends. However I woke up way late that day and other than briefly hanging out with Joe and Jake that night, I was mostly at home playing online co-op in Crackdown with Chris.
On Saturday Chris came over, and we played some random games, but mostly played System Link co-op in Crackdown. We must have played it for at least a good 7-8 hours straight as we finished it late that night, and screwed around getting some of the outrageous achievements for Crackdown like juggling a body or vehicle in the air with explosives for 10 seconds and climibing to the top of the enormously tall agency tower. That game was a freaking blast while it lasted, but other than maybe trying to get a few more achievements out of it, I don't see the lasting value. I will probably end up reviewing this game soon, so be on the lookout for a review. Speaking of a review here is my second ever Soccer game review, this one for Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 .
So just to recap real quick, here are my games beaten for 2007 thus far: Saints Row, Cars, and Crackdown!!!!
-I hope former president Logan doesn't die on 24, that was such a wussy stabbing from his ex-wife. It look like she just barely stabbed him on the shoulder and then it looked like Logan was going to flatline. Up until this point I was really digging the season, I'm sure they'll recover but there is always at least a couple of stupid things that happen in each season of 24. New season of The Shield starts up on April 3!!! Dunno if anybody who reads this are Shield fans, but I am a diehard one and have seen every episode. Right now they got 15 minute prequel episode up on Budweiser's site that has the Stryke Team attending Lem's funeral. Here is the link, you gotta register there to see it, but it only took me a minute to get that out of the way - http://www.bud.tv/default.aspx?seriesId=63&movieId=567
-So.....our local cable company has just made me a very happy customer. They just added WWE 24/7 to digital cable customers. I feel mostly responsible for this because just a month or two back I mailed our local cable provider a letter through WWE's site asking them to get WWE 24/7 to their lineup. It runs $8 a month, and after checking their lineup I am absolutely pleased with that they got to offer and how often it is updated. There is always the latest PPV from three months back on there, along with at least one classic PPV. Right now it is ECW December to Dismember and Wrestlemania 15. They also got an episode of SNME up, along with old shows from WCW, CWF, ECW, and WCCW, along with lots of other random old and excluse content. This channel rules!!!!!!
-Tiz all I got for now. Latez!
