-Hey Yo! Classes are finally almost over!! Hoo-rah indeed. Other than making time to type up my final comp paper, I think my other finals aren't going to be all that bad. History II is just a regular exam that covers last couple of chapters instead of everything. Music History exam is just 8 essay questions, and my teacher is going to give us the questions ahead of time to study for them and on exam day said we can throw out whatever two questions we want. So finals week is shaping up to be not all that bad.

I think tonight or tomorrow I am going to block off all communications and turn off my phone and 'net so I can focus strictly on typing up that paper. I was planning on getting a start on it last weekend, but I kept getting sidetrackted with other stuff. Oh yeah, found out earlier this week in History class on our latest exam I got one of the highest scores in the class with 106%. Than on another good note, I my Music History teacher said I had the highest grade in the class, upon checking online I saw I was sitting nicely at a 97%. So yeah, classes are going just dandy, and I can't wait to get them done with.

-.....ok....as I was typing this entry I just got a call from my brother who wants me to ride with him to Bemidji to get extra supplies for his job. I was planning on seeing Spidey 3 in the afternoon, but he told me he'd pay for ticket and buy me dinner if I accompanied him for the 2 hour drive. So SATURDAY NIGHT WILL BE PAPER NIGHT!

-Got my annual review at work earlier this week. I usually get mostly average scores, so it is what I am use to. I am getting a very nice wage at this point approaching the $XX dollar mark an hour. Which is pretty good for up here in North Dakota anyways.

-I have been slowly but surely progressing my way through hard mode in Guitar Hero 2 this past couple of weeks. I got 32 songs completed thus far, and some have been a real bitch to complete. Right now I think one that gave me the most trouble was Woman, I had to spend a good hour in practice mode in that song, and still after several tries I barely came away completing it. But the good thing is that I'm getting slowly better at that difficulty in the game. I can kick Medium's ass, but my goal is to get pretty comfortable on Hard.

-I have been managing to keep up with most of the tv shows I've been watching this season just fine. Lost is finally getting better as they're finally cracking away at the show's secrets and teasing some answers. Shield is definitely kicking ass, and is yet again my favorite show this season. Forrest Whitaker's role in the show was awesome, and it is too bad to see he is done with that show now. 24 is also awesome as usual, mostly just to see how badass Jack Bauer is each week, but the show doesn't have its old charm anymore. I recognize too many repeating storyline elements like the person the secretary of the President is sleeping with is a spy, Directors of CTU always getting replaced, a mole in the White House/CTU and so fourth. My Name is Earl and Office also continue to deliver for me. Moreso on the Office, that show can do no wrong. My Name is Earl gives me plenty of laughs, but they need to make Ethan Surplee's character (Randy) a little bit more bright. Some of his lack-of-logic ramblings annoy the hell out of me than entertain and seem to belong on the traditional crappy sitcom in front of a live audience. I don't have a problem with that show having cameos of a lot of major stars, it seems My Name is Earl is built for guest roles.

-Last weekend went by allright. Got a chance to record the only podcast of April with Chris and Scott ( download here) where we reviewed Shivering Isles, Guitar Hero 2 on 360, and Tiger Woods 07. On Sunday I had a WWE Backlash PPV party, and Ryan, Dave, Rich from work made it as well as Steve, Joey, Jake, and Charles. Show was pretty good overall, very creative finish, though I want Cena to desperately lose the belt. Last two years he been the champ for all but 3 months. I'm even on the breaking point of rooting for the Great Khali. On Saturday I watched a majority of the first round of the draft (first five hours up until Pats pick) with Steve. I have no idea why I keep waiting 10-15 minutes inbetween each pick with super excitement, but some damn reason the draft has been getting to me past couple of years. Also on Saturday I saw the Condmened with Ryan. Here is a quick mini-review:

Condemned - This was a surprisingly good film. I had very low expectations for this after seeing the Marine, but this blew it away by a longshot. For those of you unfamiliar with it, it has Stone Cold competing in a Internet reality show where 10 death row convicts are placed on an island and must kill each other within a time limit where the winner get their freedom. Its kind of a combination of Running Man and Battle Royal. Lots of good fight scenes, though with so many "competitors" its hard to learn a lot about each characters background other than Stone Cold of course. Stone Cold himself is allright, I think as far as a first major movie outing he is slightly better than The Rock in Scorpion King. I thought the writers could have gave him some better lines to work with other than "Game on" and "Sweetheart." Not a great movie by any means, but definitely a good popcorn action flick. I'd suggest catchin in theaters or at least giving it a rent. 7/10

-That's about all I got for this week. Latez!
